The secret to realistic AI influencer videos? Make them uglier 🤯 No perfect lighting. No flawless skin. No cinematic framing. You should be using a master prompt that adds human imperfection. Here's key phrases to include: → Shot on iPhone 15 Pro Max → Natural window light only → Off-center, slightly imperfect framing → Subtle phone-camera grain → Visible pores → Uneven skin texture → Facial asymmetry → Under-eye darkness → Smile lines → Mild nose redness → Controlled flyaways in the hair These "flaws" guide the model to pull from the most realistic corner of its training data. One upscale pass and you've got AI avatars ready for ads. No creator. No film crew. No budget. Comment "AI" and I'll send you the exact master prompt I’m using (must be following so I can dm you!).

Tell me your store is slow without telling me it's slow... This brand had 70+ apps installed 30% of them weren't used at all, and another 20% were simply redundant. You should regularly check into which apps you're using and purge them. Most of these apps are heavy and in a lot of cases poorly coded. Causes huge site loading issues and slows everything down. Not to mention the functionality issues. Go more custom and less apps.

Here's how we optimized a cart for a high AOV luxury brand. After building a new page that fits their branding & direction, we decided to focus on improving the cart. The 1st major issue that was noticed were the upsells. The products are all expensive and high AOV, and the old cart had 3 upsells presented inside. This was causing a lot of friction and confusion for customers. Rarely anyone added these upsells simply by viewing them inside the cart. Instead, this audience preferred to learn more about each product individually. So we removed the upsells, and introduced new thresholds for free shipping & gifts. Customers view this as a great opportunity to unlock something for free, and since we don't have upsells inside the cart, they will navigate to each PDP individually. This is exactly what works best for this brand and what we were aiming for.

You should see what we did then!!! Dynamatic is all about personalization and testing. Our own cart is so customizable that every single widget can show or not show based on audience. For example one merchant wanted to show credit card trust badges. Since they serve both Belgium and Netherlands they wanted the badges to be different based on whether the user is in which country. Dyna supports that! But it’s not just cart. Discounting, bundling, checkout extensions, post purchase, even changing the home page banner based on audience and schedule.

I noticed a lot of DTC brands using these popup carts. Every single time we tried testing these, they didn't perform well. ZERO times (on 40+ carts made). What I always suggest is to use either a cart page, or a drawer. Use a cart page when: -> Customers don't frequently add upsells -> Your products are slightly more expensive (>$100) -> The audience is old and can get easily confused -> You're in the German/Danish market (for the most part) Use a cart drawer in pretty much any other case, just make sure it's optimized for your brand. Keep in mind you should always test stuff like this. These are just insights we've seen on brands we worked with. Here's a quick design mockup our team made for this health brand.

Your cart should be optimized for CLARITY. We analyzed hundreds of carts from various industries. I can't count how many times I've seen a brand selling to an older audience have a cart that: - Has small & unreadable fonts - Is cluttered with upsells or unnecessary items - Doesn't make discounts & offer clear This mockup we did for a skincare brand is the perfect example. We use pretty much all the same elements, just position them better so even older audiences can understand them and intuitively flow through the cart. There's only one black element that stands out and it's the CTA. Makes it extremely easy to navigate.

@tobi @ShopifyEng @Shopify @liam_at_shopify Shopify should do better. You don’t delist an app while a partner is working and communicative. It’s wrong. Our team was contacted by the app audit team, we responded immediately and worked to resolve it. While we see that the auditor is having an issue, our team is working to resolve it. Delisting us is a gross way to treat a loyal partner. It’s the sheer lack of consideration that makes me hate being part of this community sometimes.

Does it even matter? The obsession with privacy is a waste of time since unless you want to live on an island and avoid humans your privacy will be attacked. Master card, Visa and Amex all sell data as well, and are privvy to all your purchase data. So while apple might claim they aren’t collecting it, someone else is certainly collecting it.
