@CaelemSG @NaeNaeTakes Literally every team in the league would use the max they could have for Roki. It's a resource that basically turns up no results many years for many teams. Roki literally paid for his entire contract (which was essentially free) by being an impact arm for a World Series run.

Teams can be very hit or miss with IFAs but typically a team with the institution of the Dodgers wants to be more hit than miss, especially on a Japanese phenom entering the system via loophole

Actually kind of absurd that a team as good as the Dodgers is trying to make him work as a starter. Sunk cost fallacy in all of its glory. He has a bad fastball that he refuses to cut usage on and is totally reliant on hitters bailing out his awful control and chasing the split

@CaelemSG @NaeNaeTakes I chose those teams randomly. Do it yourself. Every once in a while you get an Acuna or whatever, but that doesn't happen every year to even 1 team. Many entire years suck. Dedicating as much as you can to Roki was a no brainer for any team to do, and I'm glad the Dodgers did

@CaelemSG @NaeNaeTakes IFA $ is a very small amount and if you looked at the average team IFA class on the average team you'd realize that maybe you get 1 player who makes the majors and rarely is that player amazing. Dodgers already won a World Series with Roki as an important reliever.
