@joseph_kalimbwe The international diamond market collapsed when it became cheaper and more accurate to make designer diamonds…bw has a lot of tourism & service potential with a small population and a strategic location connecting azania to the rest of afrika!

IMF is advising Botswana not to buy 50% & make 100% ownership of its Diamond Mines from De Beers. They say if Botswana owns its mines 100%, economy may collapse & affect its loan future requests. Its like telling someone not to own anything so they keep getting loans from you !!

This is completely unacceptable. This man has a wife. He has children. And they all had to watch their own father being beaten—over an honest day’s earning. It’s despicable. His dignity stripped away, his masculinity shattered, his heart in pain. Yes, he chose to forgive that rogue employer, but forgiveness does not cancel justice. The law must take its stand and make an example of such employers. We cannot continue suffering in our own country. Enough is enough!

@SilkRoadKenya @NoCountryHere Eager to hear what a revolution looks like for you, what would a revolution actually entail? Who revolts, who brings order, and who takes over then what comes next, we revert to cok2010 or a new draft, have you thought about how the subsequent governments look?

Some officials have been opening foreign bank accounts to siphon national resources & build mansions abroad. Others have been taking bribes. President Kiir says if any institution has such officials & fears to act, they should report to him & he will help fire them. 📸Old video

@CSakwah They have access through the nile…if those monkeys had an ounce of brain matter they’d have worked out an agreement with arabs & set up shipping on the nile straight to the port if alexandria but monkeys being monkeys they’d rather fight fellow monkeys to force access

A few weeks ago, Ugandans were in full election mode. They were singing change songs and debating their future. Then Museveni shifted the entire national conversation with one bizarre claim, that Uganda has a “right” to the Kenyan Indian Ocean. Now, instead of talking about their elections, corruption, or the father-son dynasty running their country, the whole focus has been diverted to imaginary ocean borders.
Brayo🇺🇬@Ntalebrian22

I don't like museveni and I don't support him at all. But on the issue of indian ocean I agree with him. That's a nation interest not his personal interest. Kenya has no right to deny Uganda access to Indian ocean. U don't need to support his govt to see that it works for us all

Tonight reminded me how small we are before God. A family friend collapsed with a heart attack in Nyahururu. We tried to charter an emergency flight. It failed. Money couldn’t move the skies. We had to push through the night by road, fighting time, praying every kilometre. He is now at Avenue Hospital, alive and in good hands. Aki our life hangs on the mercy of God, not your bank account.

Kenya’s e-mobility dream is real, but Spiro electric bikes are facing major problems. Riders complain about battery swaps that take too long, frequent breakdowns, limited swap stations in most of the regions, and poor customer support. Many say the bikes can’t handle long distances, struggle on steep terrain, and end up parked more than working. But, Spiro Kenya doesn't care, they're not planning to sort these issues. They want to offload as many poor and substandard bikes to already struggling Boda boda sector.

A railway system across Africa could: -Make living in Nairobi while working in Kampala possible. -Let students from Kisumu study in Dodoma without relocating permanently. -Enable doctors in Lusaka to work daily with Nairobi hospitals via fast rail links. Enable doctors from South Africa to conveniently support patients in Kampala.

60% of Nairobi’s residents live in nearly 200 settlements that occupy just 10% of the city’s land. Key communities include Kibra (400k), Mukuru (300k), Kawangware (100k), Korogocho (100k), Mutuini (100k) among many others. To truly dignify these families, we must focus on four essentials: proper access roads, street lighting for safety, slum upgrading and decent housing, and basic services like public toilets, sanitation, and reliable water kiosks. Real change begins where the need is greatest.

Jomo aliweka his tribesmen in " settlement schemes" in Trans Nzoia, Narok,Nakuru, Uasin Gishu, and even as far as Lamu, Tana River and West Pokot. Those lands belonged to the local communities. We need to have this conversation. Our ancestors waliibiwa shamba alafu hawa watu wakapewa. There are thousands of Nandis who are squatters in Aldai and Tinderet.

I laugh each time the Ugandans step up rhetoric about military might against Kenya, or those juvenile threats about conquering Nairobi. In actual sense, the UPDF is an overrated militia that, in the EAC bloc, is only better than Burundi, making it the second weakest force in the region. In fact, the quickest way to tell that a military is hopelessly unprofessional are its persistent attacks on civilians. Well trained militaries don't play politics and don't target civilians. The best militaries in the region are Kenya's and Rwanda's. If you factor in Kenya's Air Force, it becomes the best by far. In a shoot-out with Uganda, Kenya would probably just send in the 6th Brigade, the 8th Brigade, the Army Special Operations Brigade (ASOB) and a few KAF squadrons, and the job would be done. Those mouthy UPDF militias and broiler Generals promoted by genetics would be fleeing for dear life faster than you can say "Mbarara!" Notice how no one in Kenya's security apparatus ever responds to Uganda's childish taunts. It is the measure of a good force to not speak to little rabbits wagging their tails. Remember too how, when Rwanda had a trade and border dispute with Uganda a few years ago, Kagame told Uganda that Rwanda would teach it a lesson in war. The crackhead Muhoozi had to fly to Kigali to hold talks with "my beloved uncle Gen Paul Kagame". Kagame served in the UPDF and knows well how overrated it is. The only people Ugandans can threaten in peacetime are those Kenyan fishermen in Lake Victoria islands. In war, they don't scare even chaotic South Sudanese and Swahili-speaking Tanzanian soldiers.
