God you people are ignorant for believing this trash. 1. Per Republican's own investigations into voter fraud, the voter rate of illegals is 0.0000067%. It is already a felony to vote in our elections if not a citizen. Not once EVER has the handful of illegals who did vote affect an election. In the meantime, the SAVE Act is not requiring you show your id at the polls or put a license # on a mail in ballot. It won't accept driver's licenses. It will only accept passports or you must send in an ORIGINAL birth certificate. If you married and took your spouses name, you must also get a certified copy of your marriage license in person where you married (even if states away) since no provision exists for a certificate to be mailed like a birth certificate can be. THEN you send all that into the Sec. of State. THEN you can vote. All of that must occur despite the fact our voting process is amazingly secure.

In fact it was GW Bush who let the most in and it was Obama who kicked the most out....more than Trump did in his first term. Obama just did it competently and humanely. Less than 3% of illegals drugs coming into our country comes via boat. The vast majority comes across the border at official entry points. The boats Trump was blowing up, IF they were even drug boats, are ferrying drugs to the Caribbean and then to Europe. It was a lie that Trump was doing this to stop drugs into our country. In fact during that time, Trump pardoned the former president of Honduras who was in prison for leading a ring of drug smugglers that imported more than 400 TONS (800,000 lbs.) of cocaine into the US. Trump couldn't care less how many drugs come into our country. Iran was not building a bomb. The accord Iran signed with Obama kept them from moving forward on the bomb. When Trump ripped up the agreement, Iran did re-start their nuclear program. But Trump bombed Iran last year and swore their entire nuclear capability was destroyed. That, too, was a lie, but it did send the program back years and the economy of Iran is such the CIA determined Iran was likely to forego ever making a bomb in favor of removed sanctions and monetary aid.

It requires either a passport or you must get/purchase an original birth certificate and if you married and changed your name to your spouse's name, then you also need to go get/purchase a certified copy of your marriage license from the courthouse in the county where you were married...which can be many states away. You cannot order them online. Then that documentation must be sent to the Sec. of State. All of which is absurd given the fraud rate in our elections is miniscule.

Maxwell's appeal of her sentence spent years and the final decision was made in October 2024. After the final case completed, the Biden administration did begin to catalog it. But the massive amount of exhibits made it a months long project. It was only three months later when Trump took over. But middle and lower middle class voters rarely have passports and must have the birth certificate which both costs money and often requires research in how to get one if out of state. They must have both an original birth certificate AND a certified copy of their marriage license which must be procured in person for a cost - here it is $20 plus the cost of parking downtown. There is only one reason the Republicans want this passed...and it has NOTHING to do with voter fraud.
