Comunque il concetto di dual procurement trascende il regulated/liberalised: si può applicare anche in un sistema perfettamente competitivo. L'importante è non credere che il marginal pricing sia l'unico sistema disponibile.

The 🇩🇪 German company Liebherr has signed the largest order in the company's 75-year history and will supply 475 electric mining machines to the 🇦🇺🦘 Australian mining company Fortescue. It is a ‘historic deal’ and the largest in the company's 75-year history, Liebherr announced on signing the billion-dollar order. The contract between Liebherr and Fortescue is worth 2.8 billion dollars and comprises 475 Liebherr machines - including 360 autonomous battery-powered giant dump trucks. They are to be used in mines in Australia. The dump truck is the result of ‘years of hard work and collaboration between Liebherr and Fortescue in the areas of autonomy and zero emissions’, Liebherr added. The dump truck is equipped with a battery electric drive system developed by Fortescue's technology division Fortescue Zero. Fortescue also developed the fast-charging solution for the electric giant. The charging system can supply up to six megawatts of electricity, meaning that the giant dump truck, named T 264, can be charged in just 30 minutes, according to the press release.
