As Parliamentary Secretary to Justice, I shepherded the Safe Streets and Communities Act through Parliament. It specifically targeted repeat violent offenders. As a direct result, violent crime in Canada dropped by approximately 35 percent. NDP-Liberal coalitions have since brought back crime, disorder and chaos. When taxes tripled and the Musqueam First Nation sued 150 families, including mine, I helped lead our legal team all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada.
