Shout out to @SouthwestAir for ALP priority boarding. Well executed and clear! Flight one today, yhe crew mailed it. Flight two, there was some confusion in the way the GA described it, making folks believe it was still Grp 1. Small thing, and I like it!

@DanWolken They can’t build a by pass through the city due to the mountains, so 59, 24, and 75 all kinda meet there and have to merge in to one road in the city, and it just turns in to a trucker bottleneck

Can anyone explain why the traffic in Chattanooga is always insane on I-24? No big lane closures or construction I can see but every time I come through it takes forever

@SouthwestAir the TMo wifi ad video really needs to default to muted when it plays so that it doesn't blast loudly, especially given the requirement of headphones for audio.

The media really needs more balanced coverage of the TSA situation. There are indeed airports that are really bad but more with little to no impact. And the general public doesn’t know how to interpret what they are hearing. #payTSA

It’s interesting that travelers who don’t fly often will label any airline as the “worst ever” over what any frequent traveler would call a minor inconvenience. I’ve learned that when things so south, right or wrong, you have to know your own backup options and be proactive.

@TripsWithTykes @SouthwestAir I agree. I am ALP but my experience and feelings about the new process will change drastically when I am not. This coming from one who has been at least A List for over a decade.

Despite everything, still been rooting for you @SouthwestAir. But a boarding process that assigns an A-Lister w a $299 Perform Biz card Group 5 is broken. Chances of finding bin space near my seat on a 700? Slim. Need a better system for best customers who travel often for biz.

Also @AustenKroll, we had trip hop today, and I’ve never encountered a more perfectly named beer! Troppy and hoppy!

I’m flying on the first day of @SouthwestAir’s assigned seating! And I’m kinda pumped about it. Hope it isn’t chaos.

@SoCalFlyer97 Due to status, I’m not at all mad about it. Def a HUGE shift. It always baffles me that folks get on SW thinking the boarding position is their seat. Maybe the ones who will struggle with this the most are the occasional but experience with SW fliers.

Not seeing many complaints over Southwest Airlines' forthcoming Assigned Seating policy other than the same "different-than-the-others" comments. The same-day standby/"A61" tradeoff for A-List remains uncertain to me but looking forward to this. Thanks for sharing @ELBTravels!

As I look at my @Flighty report for the year… out of 64 flights, 55% were delayed. Is that similar to other folks or was I just delayed the majority of the year? 😅 can’t wait to start at zero come January!
