A Church building went up in flames, and the Church members ran outside and started commanding the fire to stop through prayers and speaking in tongues. Do I blame them for doing that? No. If their government had made provision for active fire service and provided emergency numbers for such situations, they would have called for help, but seeing that no one can help them, they resorted to the only means available to them which is praying. This is the situation across most African countries. I used to blame Christians for praying about everything in the past until I realized that there’s nothing else they could do. They pray against insecurity. They pray against road accidents. They pray against poverty. They pray for electricity. They pray against bad government. They pray even when these prayers doesn’t seem to work because there’s nothing else they could do. If the government were doing their jobs well and providing the basic things for their people, people would have little or nothing to pray about. However, there’s something everyone can still do aside praying for God’s intervention. Everyone should speak up and start protesting in their own way against incompetent governments. Because the more incompetent a government is, the more nights you would have to stay awake at night to fight the devil. ~KAA

Go read it and tell me again how this has “nothing to do with god.” Now over to the Qur’an: Surah An-Nisa 4:24 allows sleeping with women “your right hands possess.” That means enslaved women from war rape under divine approval. Surah Al-Ahzab 33:50 says Muhammad could take captive women as he pleased. Consent? Never mentioned. Sahih Muslim 8:3432: Muhammad’s companions asked if they could have sex with captive women and pull out he gave them the green light. Not one word about what the women wanted. So yes, this has everything to do with god because the rape culture you’re defending is deeply rooted in these sick, twisted “holy” texts. The pastor isn’t just some misguided man, he’s acting on the same rotten doctrine that’s been enabling abuse for centuries. And spare me the “venom every Sunday” line. What you call venom is rage against a system that protects predators, silences victims, and uses your god’s name to excuse the unforgivable.
