She was kidnapped on Monday, 13 April 2026, on her way to Abuja to report for duties from Ogun State. We have not gotten precise information about where the incident happened. She reached us briefly around 12.am yesterday, 15 April 2026, that she has been kidnapped since on Monday without details of who kidnapped her, why, and where she is before the phone was taken from her. Now, they have been calling me until this moment demanding N100 million naira. Where do I raise 100 million naira? I can't even raise 100 thousand naira. They are calling me with a registered number. Our preliminary findings have it that this happened in Kabba, Kogi State, Nigeria. I have been to three different police stations. One in Lagos and the two at Mowe and Redeem Police stations. Police have no tracking system and that since there is no information about location, police said they can't work. I called police national PPRO. He said I should go and report at the nearest police station and ended the call. He did not pick calls again until now. I do not want to lose my sister. She is a very young girl who is just starting life. Please rescue her alive, safely, and complete.

"For those spreading misinformation that I have been arrested because I said, I have 1 million Naira for anybody who will cut off the head of that Pastor for Insulting the prophet, I'm still here" I'm here to tell you that I've increased the money from 1 million to 2 Million"

Thank God, the tumor was diagnosed as benign 🙏. However, I will undergo a biopsy on Sunday for complete confirmation. Please pray for me that the procedure goes well and that the results are reassuring 🤍chuffed.org/fundraiser/sur…

I do not know the police station to report this to, but the organisation she is working for has been duly informed immediately I got the sad news and until this very moment. Day 19 of standing for Ochanya Ogbanje. Another sunrise, and the same silence from those who should be protecting our children. Ochanya was just 13… a little girl who left home trusting family to keep her safe and send her to school. Instead, she endured years of pain that no child should ever know, until VVF took her from us in 2018. Her uncle was acquitted. Her cousin Victor Ogbuja has been running from justice for over seven long years — and still, no fresh wanted notice, no real manhunt, no honest update from the authorities. @benuestategovt @BenuePoliceNG @PoliceNG @benuestategov… please, we are begging you to see her. To act. To every single person who has liked, reposted, tagged, prayed, or simply refused to scroll past these posts… thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your love is the only reason Ochanya’s name is still breathing. But I know you feel it too — love alone is not enough. We need justice that moves. Today I ask again, with everything in me: • A clear public statement from the police on Victor’s manhunt • His face posted nationwide as WANTED • Real safeguards so no other girl child is ever failed like this This is no longer just about one beautiful soul. It’s about every daughter, every sister, every mother who deserves to believe that justice in Nigeria can still rise. I will keep showing up. I will keep speaking her name. I will not grow tired, because Ochanya never had the chance to grow up. Sweet girl, your pain is remembered. Your light is still guiding us. Rest softly… justice is coming. We won’t let you down. 💔🙏 #JusticeForOchanya #JusticeForTheGirlChild #EndChildAbuse #ProtectNigerianGirls

Day 17 of demanding #JusticeForOchanya Another sunrise, another day we refuse to let Ochanya’s story fade into silence. This 13-year-old girl was sent away from home with hope, hope for education, a better future, and safety in the arms of “family.” Instead, she endured years of unimaginable abuse that shattered her body, left her with vesicovaginal fistula (VVF), and eventually took her life in October 2018. Her uncle Andrew Ogbuja was acquitted. Her cousin Victor Ogbuja has been a fugitive for over seven years now, with reports he has been living openly in Lagos. Yet there is still no sustained public manhunt, no fresh wanted notice, and no clear update from the authorities. The silence from @BenuePoliceNG and @benuestategovt is deafening. Every day it continues is another day we tell Nigerian parents that sending their daughters to relatives for schooling comes with unbearable risk. To everyone still liking, reposting, tagging, and sharing, thank you. Your voices are keeping her name alive when the system wants us to forget. But likes alone won’t arrest a fugitive or reopen this case. We need: - An official public update from the Benue State Police on the manhunt for Victor Ogbuja - A visible, sustained search with his face widely circulated as wanted - Real accountability that protects every girl child trusted to “family” for education This fight isn’t just for Ochanya anymore. It’s for every daughter, every sister, every future that could be stolen the same way. We won’t stop posting. We won’t stop tagging. We won’t let her pain become another forgotten headline. Ochanya, your light still shines through us. Rest in power, sweet soul. Justice must come. 💔🙏 @benuestategovt @BenuePoliceNG @PoliceNG @benuestategov @Lagosstategov #JusticeForOchanya #JusticeForTheGirlChild #EndChildAbuse #ProtectNigerianGirls
