😂😂😂 I love when people exemplify the Dunning-Kruger Effect on this app. I write a bunch of facts followed by a logical argument with respect to them. Your response is a bunch of emotion spewing. Enjoy your life, your OF page, and the second and third order effects of your choices. God bless you. He loves you—but based on the fact that you are on OF, he’s probably the only one ;)

- Pull out of NATO. - Close all bases and remove all military personal from the UK, Germany, Spain, and France. - Never protect these countries again. - Stop all trade with these countries. ZERO. - Refuse to share any military technologies and don't allow to them to buy any military equipment. Ever. - Don't share any intelligence with them. NONE. - Tell them they have to provide 100% of weapons and money to Ukraine. - Cut them off completely.

From where? The Fortress America doctrine is the Monroe Doctrine at hyper scale. It has already put 68% of the world’s oil production and 81% of world oil reserves under US control, and that assumes the Middle East oil countries don’t become deeply embedded US client states, subject to even greater US influence—which, by the way, this is a big reason for what’s happening in Iran right now. In this scenario, Russia is the only major non-affiliated supplier, the US has a lock up on the petro-dollar, oil financing, and the related sanctions regimes. Where will they get oil? I see you making assertions. No arguments. No facts. I’m all ears. I would love you to educate me.

Just spent some time on your X page looking at your posts. Your OF expertise maybe doesn’t translate to the geopolitical realm? Your post that you “just ordered [your] first chastity cage” says a lot about your thought processes. The US wants influence in Greenland to control and have direct access to the resources opening up in the Arctic and to prevent a land grab there by other hegemonic powers. Russia doesn’t want a war with us. It wants to be the hegemonic power in Europe that it was for centuries. It wants economic cooperation with us and its own sphere of influence. Europeans may or may not want that (I think you probably don’t), but you all can work that out amongst yourselves. It is largely irrelevant to us. The paradigm you’re viewing all of this through is one from the late 20th century, so it’s unsurprising that you see this as “moronic.” The US is pivoting to a hyper scaled Monroe Doctrine and a stranglehold on the world’s energy production (control of 61% of world production) and reserves (81%), entrenched captive markets, in country and near-sourced supply chains that sit in countries it has significant influence over, and the ability to project power where necessary across the globe with a smaller physical footprint and dramatically reduced economic outlay. That constitutes a massive reordering of the geopolitical landscape, locks in the dollar as the world’s reserve currency—because the vast majority of oil must be priced and cleared in dollars, and cements demand for US treasuries.

I just answered a similar comment with the following. Simply copying it here rather than retyping. One quick question—what happens if we control 68% of the world’s oil production and 81% of the world’s oil reserves (Fortress America)? Let me help: This massive consolidation of energy resources under a U.S. umbrella is fundamentally tied to protecting and reinforcing the U.S. dollar’s status as the world’s reserve currency. The strategy acts as an aggressive modernization of the 1970s petrodollar system. By ensuring that the vast majority of the world’s hydrocarbons remain priced, cleared, and traded within a dollar-centric energy and sanctions regime, the U.S. guarantees structural, unavoidable global demand for U.S. dollars and Treasury bonds.

@ESIESQ @Arkasiraee @catturd2 You are nieve if you think the US is immune from an economic collapse. The US's superpower status is dependent on being the reserve currency of choice and that trade in conducted in USD.

@ESIESQ @Arkasiraee @catturd2 Mate, your economy is the definition of a ponzi scheme. You print dollars out of thin air and then you export them (petrodollar), literally you export your inflation. If the world stops using the dollar Venezuela's inflation will be a paradise in your eyes.

@kieselundstein @Arkasiraee @catturd2 This is factually untrue. Put this scenario into any AI and ask it to run a basic simulation on what happens. I promise the answer will be the US absorbs the hit and continues to grow and European countries enter a death spiral towards economic and social collapse.

@ESIESQ @Arkasiraee @catturd2 While it certainly would pit the global economy in a deep recession, the US household is addicted to unlimited money printing. The amount of debt snd obligations the US has means it would be much more devastating for them than for Europe. On a massive scale.

Tell me you don’t understand anything about economics or geopolitics without telling me you don’t understand anything about economics or geopolitics. There have been a large number of white papers written on “Fortress America” in the last several years and information on the internet is mostly free, so you can easily spend the time. Here are three. If you understand that concept, you’ll get that what you said isn’t correct. whitehouse.gov/wp-content/upl… trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov/wp-content/upl… nationalsecurityjournal.org/control-the-he…

This would absolutely crash the European economies. You talk about our debt, but your economies are barely above water. This would be the biggest self own of all time. We can withstand this kind of stupidity. European countries would fall into economic collapse and revolution. Do it. We dare you.

Do you realise what will happen to USD if European Union joins hands with the BRICS ? Effectively, that would mean an express route to de-throne USD as the Global Reserve Currency. Which would with immediate effect make the $39 Trillion debt unsustainable, which will be followed by the most biblical collapse of any hegemonic empire. You will be left with Dollar Notes that look like this,

We would grind Russia into dust. 21st century military versus a mid 20th century military. They can’t take Ukraine. Setting aside our military, there are 350 million civilian owned guns in the US. They conducted an exercise is the 60’s and determined it is impossible to invade the US because there is nowhere they can safely insert troops in light of the armed citizenry alone. That situation has improved for them in intervening decade. More to the point, they don’t want to fight with us. Especially if we give them free rein in Europe. They want trade and economic advantages

Not for nothin, but why not let Russia be the hegemonic power in Europe? Why do we care? Europe is deeply irrelevant on the geopolitical scale and grows more so every day. Their economies are shrinking. They are entirely energy dependent on Russia, the Middle East, and the US. The combined military of all 30+ counties are, on paper, equal to about 1/2 of the US’ across the board. Time to let them fend for themselves.

@catturd2 If the US pulled funding for NATO they would fold overnight. Unfortunately, this is exactly what Russia wants to see. America needs to reduce funding in increments and tell NATO countries that they need to step up their own funding and become self sufficient.

@Microinteracti1 Cool cool. France can ask Iran to protect it from Russia. The US will focus on “allies” that contribute something. Sounds like acceptable terms. I would also note that France is famous for surrendering. It’s fun that he surrendered in a fight France isn’t even in. 😂😂😂

My dude, your name is a delusion. You clearly don’t have any understanding of economics or global power projection. Strategically, Europe is mostly an irrelevant region. With ALL of the EU, you have 1/2 the fighter jets, 1/2 the ships, 1/4 of the airlift power, etc of the US alone. We don’t care if the Straits of Hormuz are open—we don’t use it. We are a net oil exporter and can afford to pump more as the price goes up. You care A LOT. Because of your ridiculous climate policies, you’re totally dependent on Russia, the Middle East, and US for energy. US bases are a massive part of many EU countries’ economies. We leave, those crash. We bail from Ukraine, it will fall—the EU alone isn’t strong or wealthy enough to prop it up. Once that happens, the rest of Eastern Europe will fall like dominos to the Russian war machine. You’ve been relegated to the kids table at Thanksgiving in terms of global power and influence.

🚨 NOBODY KNOWS HOW FUCKED NATO ACTUALLY IS RIGHT NOW. In the last 72 hours, watch who walked away: 🇫🇷 France: Blocked US military overflight for weapons to Israel — FIRST TIME since war began Feb 28. Israel cut ALL defense procurement from France. 🇮🇹 Italy: Denied Sigonella air base landing to US bombers. Defense Minister said relations are "solid and loyal." DAYS after blocking US planes. 🇪🇸 Spain: Closed ENTIRE airspace to US operations. Blocked Naval Station Rota AND Morón Air Base. PM Sánchez called it "not NATO collective defense." 🇵🇱 Poland: Refused to redeploy Patriot batteries. US burned through 1,200+ interceptors in 16 days. Poland said no. 🇨🇭 Switzerland: Denied 2 US reconnaissance flights. Suspended $120,000,000 in weapons exports under "neutrality laws." 🇬🇧 UK: PM said "this is not our war." Trump told them to "build up some delayed courage." 🇩🇪 Germany: President Steinmeier called war "possibly illegal." WHILE hosting Ramstein — largest US base outside America. That is: France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Switzerland, UK, and Germany. All in ONE week. When this many allies abandon you at once, it's not a disagreement. It's a collapse.

MAJOR BREAKING: Kuwait, who produces 2.8 million barrels of oil each day or 84 million barrels per month officially confirms it has cut oil production. There won’t be any American ground troops in Iran. You’re opining on the last war. We are going to degrade them from the air until they are completely crippled and allow the Kurds, Azeris, Persians, and Israelis to do their thing. If what comes out of this is problematic for us, we will bomb them into oblivion again. Rinse and repeat until there is something there we can work with and that can act as a functional part of the international community. It’s a very different worldview and foreign policy. This is purely about degrading a rouge regime. To a significant extent, we don’t care what comes next, so long as it isn’t in opposite to our interests.

I have couple of speculations—Maybe after the B-52s, we will send in the Wright Flyer, a couple of P-51 Mustangs, and the Blue Angels just for fun? A text goes out to 40 million Iranian phones—ladies and gentlemen, please enjoy the air show and the subsequent dusting off of your latest “leader”. Maybe we will bombard them using the USS Constitution thereafter? It’s literally that bad for them. They couldn’t stop what I just described. The fact that the armies of all of the Middle East countries they have attacked are now joining in is only going to make this so much worse for Iran. This is equivalent to a UFC fighter fighting a very frustrated five-year-old. I “speculate” the outcome is going to be very similar.
