@KleanPlays @EcaTheeEditor @YeOldeApple Not at all actually just go to emblem reselling discords most of the time if it isn’t tied to a reward people won’t spend money on it even me I spend 20 for 2 emblems I really wanted buying pins from the bungie store ONLY for the emblem so no it’s not “pessimistic” it’s reality

This mindset regarding charity items and exclusivity is disrespectful. It is never suppose about the cosmetics. It's about raising money for those in need. We donate because we can spare some change when others can't. As soon as bragging rights are involved, we've lost the plot.

@KleanPlays @YeOldeApple Lastly if its not about the cosmetics and really raising money then I'd like to see anyone do other charity's, fundraise & get nothing out it. Cause I don't think many in this community even do that. So I understand their view even if X amount of time has passed.

@EcaTheeEditor @YeOldeApple It is a 1x use permanent item fixed to your single account. If the people who didn't donate chose not to donate X years ago, odds are they wouldn't pay what you did X years ago now. So its value depreciated to 0.

@KleanPlays @YeOldeApple I thought donating is an act of generosity? And with generosity you usually get nothing out of it. But its ok to not admit that everyone is at least a little selfish in some areas, including me.

@KleanPlays @YeOldeApple Either way. All im saying is this controversy is a bit ridiculous seeing both sides cause both are guilty for their own reasons. You can't call someone selfish for being that way if we all also donate & fundraise for some kind of incentive>benefit.

But If it adds value to your donation then how is it fair to be free for just anyone to have now? Value Gone.

@EcaTheeEditor @YeOldeApple That's a terribly pessimistic viewpoint. How do so many other charities get donations then? They don't have games tied to them. Its called an incentive for a reason. Its meant to add value to your donation and push some people who may not donate at all, to donate.
