We were lucky to visit a project modelling carbon sequestration in KY & TN wetlands

Back from a week of field visits in KY/TN with folks from @USDA_NRCS , @nature_KY and @USGS for a new @ApexRMS project modeling carbon sequestration in restored wetlands. Surprised by how dry wetlands can be along Mississippi. Important lesson to go see what you are modeling!

We've been working on seeing how access to green spaces for Toronto residents are not equal. Still very early in our results, but its very obvious that there are large sections of the city where the closest public green space is kilometers away (non-shaded areas)
