May 23-24 we lay to rest BFES Fire Capt. Greg Hughes. This active duty firefighter was taken way to soon. It was our honour to give Greg & family the best tribute & celebration of his life. One of his last career decisions was joining our Honour guard.We will miss you brother.

At 09:31, we rescued a second individual from the wreckage. All our specialty teams are on scene & did excellent work locating & rescuing the individual who was trapped inside a collapsed home surrounded by a large amount of debris. #OttNews 📸 OFS Photographer Jean Lalonde

Our tech rescue team from station 6 & Special Ops unit responded to the scene to shore up the damaged area before the vehicle was safely removed. No injuries reported. Red Cross responded to the scene to assist four adults with temporary lodging. #toledofire #toledofirefighters
