So the President of Israel called Mark Carney about the alarming increase increase in antisemitism in Canada and Carney gave him shit over the fake flotilla ‘atrocities’. Mark Carney is much worse than not a friend of Canada’s Jews. We are in trouble under him and his government and his comments are only going to make it much worse.

In my call with Prime Minister @MarkJCarney of Canada, I expressed my deep alarm over the rise in antisemitic violence in Canada. I called on Prime Minister Carney and his government to address the fear and sense of abandonment felt by our sisters and brothers in the Canadian Jewish community before it’s too late. In our discussion, we agreed that Israel has the right to self-defense. I reiterated that we are acting to protect our people against the threat of terror from Iran and its terror proxies in the region, including Hezbollah in Lebanon. I also underlined the importance of implementing UN Security Council Resolution 2803 in Gaza, including the vital condition that Hamas is disarmed and a new government is established in Gaza.

Really interesting observation in Calgary real estate market. Absolutely booming the last few weeks of spring here in SFH even up to $2mm. Competing offers and going above list. Looked at a $1.7mm home on the weekend for curiosity on a Sunday drive, 5,000 square feet, filled with young couples with babies and sold same day at $1.75mm. Has to be oil prices? Thoughts?

Today, I spoke with the President Herzog of Israel. I reiterated that the appalling treatment of civilians aboard the Gaza-bound flotilla was unacceptable, and that respect for human dignity must be upheld everywhere, at all times. I underlined the imperative of de-escalation in the Middle East, and the importance of a genuine resumption of dialogue among all parties. Progress toward peace and stability in the region must remain the clear, shared objective.

It is quite remarkable how fixable Canada's problems are. There are no physical or systemic barriers to our success. All we have to do is stop punching ourselves in the nuts 24 hours a day. Maybe we could do 23 hours to start and go from there.

It doesn't have to be permanent. In fact, it could turn around quite quickly, if we purged the judiciary, cut funding to all arts, multiple entire colleges, countless NGOs, and really invested in putting bad people in jail for a long time.

@CanadianPolling 1. Govt should not advertise any of its own gambling products eg lottery sales.
2. No advertising should feature aspirational images of what life will be like if I win big.
3. All products and ads should show odds of winning.

I still can’t comprehend why many comments from my Friday post that I was in cash were: “I don’t believe in timing the market”, “I am a long term investor”, “oil stocks will hold in a $90 oil price world”, or the long term oil price outlook is bullish, why sell”.
