Very tough day…we went to visit my Mum & found my Mum had died unexpectedly in her home💔 So out of sorts with it 💔 Huge thanks to @PoliceScotland for the care & compassion from the Officers, Martin & Jamie who were just incredible and I won’t forget the kindness they showed

@AvantiWestCoast Having a very miserable journey to Glasgow as 11.30 from Euston cancelled then 11.38 is only 9 coaches. Luggage everywhere, people standing. Train manager doing best in impossible situation. Quite frankly doesn’t feel very safe.

Infuriating

@hari_miller We had roasted veggies (chick pea, aubergine, pepper, butternut squash) with halloumi. Used harissa so nice & spicy. Plus salmon. We did have a green salad on the side .

Is anyone having a lovely dinner at home that doesn’t involve bread or chips? Or anything to heavy. But also not salad. I’m completely out of ideas.

@VioletAnnie1970 I should add that the best practice I saw is where a member of SLT was Curriculum Lead and took responsibility for development & outcomes. Subject Leads were well supported but only took part in monitoring with SLT.

How many schools give everyone who is a subject leader a TLR? Unions now pressurising me by saying they will direct all of their members not to do any subject leadership without a TLR.
