@Eddy_Obregon Yes. I use exposure 0, even with the RenoDX mod, that fixes black levels.

@HDRgameAnalysis how's the graphics compared to this year's biggest games like 007 , resident evil etc
English

@HDRgameAnalysis So for Black Flag on my LG G5
On what I've been reading should be using 2300-2500 and 0
And ftda about -8 for elevated black levels
English

@Eddy_Obregon I try only to comment on HDR on this X account 😊

@Eddy_Obregon @April140504 @jack62246932 @YouTube Exactly and it’s why LG had to update to the 6nm processor

@FomoReviews @April140504 @jack62246932 @YouTube Weird because there using LG tech and panel for the 83 to beat them
English

@April140504 @Eddy_Obregon @jack62246932 @YouTube 83” S95F has better posterization and color processing in the most challenging gaming content
English

@jack62246932 @YouTube Definitely the 83" S95F beat out the G5 last year but with the 6nm improvement, can the G6 at least match the S95H? We'll see in December... when firmware matures for both!
English

@FomoReviews Ahhhh, I saw DNice say he disabled the dimming for your G6. I wonder if in testing or customer feedback/returns LG learned that they need to start dimming earlier. Please ask them to bring back MLA for the G7! I think it would really help
English

@FomoReviews @April140504 is this Paused or When watching live sports
English

@April140504 When paused in vivid to test sustained brightness where some content like games or hockey may appear to be static. This definitely doesn’t affect you if you’re only watching movie content.
English

@FomoReviews LG G5 was good for a year why send a update to Dim more agressively yet the G6 sustains longer
English

@FomoReviews Fomo how about in FMM or Cinema Home if its DV or HDR. Does it still Dim with football , basketball sports . Sdr/HDR . I never use Vivid @FomoReviews

@T1000Ninja @HDRgameAnalysis Having a LG G5 can one do it on that tv

@HDRgameAnalysis LG TV OLED, plus the secret combination on the remote enables HGL. It's much better than SDR anyway; I always use it if a game doesn't have HDR.

HDR analysis and setup guide for #Gothic1Remake on PC, Playstation (PS5/PS5 Pro) and Xbox (SS/SX).
This is as lazy as it gets from the developer. No HDR on consoles and a basic non-adjustable HDR output on PC (1000 nits).😥
Playstation:
The game does not output HDR on PS5. It only outputs SDR, unfortunately.
You can still get an HDR signal from our PS5, if you use HDR Always On in PS5s system settings. It will output the SDR signal in an HDR container and enable you to use your TVs HDR features, such as Dynamic Tone Mapping or similar.
Picture 4 shows HDR Always On. It typically caps peak brightness at around 253 nits.
I have an article in X's article section explaning HDR Always On.
Xbox:
I only tried the demo on SX. It did not support HDR, just as on PS5.
Auto HDR also didn't work. It only does if the developer actively choses this.
The game is using Unreal Engine 5. We know UE5 supports HDR. Its not by any means perfect HDR, but its better than SDR. Im no developer and just a gamer, so why they chose not to give console gamers this option, I simply don't understand (They do give PC gamers this option).
PC:
The game uses UE5's standard HDR, as far as I can see.
Peak brightness is capped at one brightness output of 1000 nits, with no way of adjusting it in-game.
However, it's easy to go into the games Engine.ini file and simply type in your displays peak brightness. I tried that for mine (2000 nits), and it worked (see picture 3).
Sinse its an Unreal Engine 5 game with the standard and flawed UE5 in-game HDR, then PC gamers should use the RenoDX Extended version for UE5.
I will in the next post below show, how I got RenoDX Extended version to work.
- Picture 2 - RenoDX Extended - 2000 nits
- Picture 3 - In-game HDR with 2000 nits in engine.ini
- Picture 4 - PS5 HDR Always On

@Eddy_Obregon @TechWithKG @HDRgameAnalysis Comparing them to each other I rather have DTM on. Again personal preference

Sinceramente, esse tipo de vídeo aqui costuma ser um desserviço para as pessoas leigas. Vamos lá...
- MicroLED > OLED > MiniLED > IPS > VA > TN
- MiniLED não entrega contraste maior que OLED
- MiniLED não tem burn-in como OLED, apenas os problemas já conhecidos de LCDs convencionais
- Única tecnologia de painel que é melhor que OLED será MicroLED, porém não acessível é ainda.

@HDRgameAnalysis I also use professional tone mapping on film maker mode, with 100 values for the sliders..

This tiny X account have gotten more followers since I last did some polls.
Below I will post 3 polls.
1. What display do you use
2. Capability of your display (peak brightness)
3. What platform do you game on
Please do me a favor and answer the polls. It will help me better understand who my followers are.

@TechWithKG @HDRgameAnalysis For me Hgig is crazy dim vs dtm so thats why I like dtm.
English

@HDRgameAnalysis @Ptshotsun @TechWithKG I have settled between HGIG in Game Slider 280 and PS5 pro calibrated to 2025 nits and expression enhancer brightness . Now when I use DTM which i like most leave the ps5 pro HDR calibrated at 2500 use game slider at 260 expression enhancer detailed and it looks great.
English

DTM is tuned to receive a 4000 nits signal and tone map it down to what your TV can better display.
If you set your PS5 to output 2000 nits (your LG can do 2100-2400 nits) then the game will output up to 10000 nits in the brightest highlights and 2000-4000 nits in many of the secondary bright highlights.
Thats why HDR will look good and impactful in 007 on your 2100-2400 nits TV using DTM.
HDR is bugged when using film grain. High nits TV owners, like you, especially those with DTM is not so effected. Its actually good its bugged.
I have a 2000 nits Samsung. I can use its heavy roll off of highlights together with its 2000 nits to make it look good on my TV.
Not everyone is lucky to have highend TVs.
