@FomoReviews@High_Def_News@The_Display_Guy I just bought the ‘hammer’ (83” G6) yesterday. It’s already on the wall. Can’t wait to set it up today!
Retired the 77” S89C , now my buddy I sold it to is enjoying it.
@High_Def_News@The_Display_Guy It’s the 98-115” victory lap for LCD TVs. If you want the best up to 83” then obviously OLED but I think 98”+ is amazing for movie watching from 9 ft away
@Jennifergalatis Congratulations Jennifer! Can’t wait to see your content when my new 83” G6 delivers on Friday!
Taken to new level viewing your content with the G6 after retiring my 77”QD-OLED S89C!
Wow, what an incredible night! 🎉 My YouTube Channel just hit 200,000 subscribers! Thank you all so much for your amazing support and for continuing to watch my content – it truly means the world to me. Today I dropped a Dolby Atmos demo, and a Dolby Vision demo is up next! Big things are also happening behind the scenes with major corporations licensing and commissioning new demos. I've been super busy creating state-of-the-art visual and audio demos for companies, YouTube, and Patreon. A huge shoutout to all my supporters on Apple Music and Tidal – you mean so much to me, all 4 million monthly listeners! On Apple Music, I'm even the number one recommended in Dolby Atmos. Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart, and get ready for more exciting projects coming your way in the next few weeks! ❤️ #Subscribers#YouTube#Milestone#Support#Content#Demos#Music#AppleMusic#Tidal#Projects
@FomoReviews It will be interesting to see the 83” S95H WOLED brightness is over the G6 or not. . Heard last years 83” S95F was brighter than the G5. So will see…
@FomoReviews@Eddy_Obregon@YouTube Yea, I just moved to new apartment and sold my 77”S89C before I moved, so I’m on the fence for either the 83” S95H or G6… I think I would be happy with either one. Also open to the G5 and C6H and same 83 size. Whichever best deal I get lol
@High_Def_News@CT_Calibrations I’d rather have the LG G series despite its flaws. I currently own a Samsung 77”S89C.
Planing to upgrade to LG G 5 or 6 ,83” panel. Considering the 83” Samsung S95F but not available in my area as a partner price. 😉
S95H (right) after proper correction is the most complete image quality of any TV I've tested. The F (left) was great for low luminance and the H improves on it more. While the F colors can get "close" the H simply outclasses the F in many areas. Least flawed TV I've tested.
2026 Flagship TV anti-glare shootout📺 which would you choose?
A. Samsung S95H matte → ZERO reflections but lose perfect contrast/black
B. LG G6 glossy → some reflections but keep perfect black/contrast
I vote S95H for my bright room because reflections drive me nuts.
@CT_Calibrations Hi folks, is it true the LG G5&G6 needs to be taken off the mounting bracket every time you need to add or change HDMI ports? Or is there enough room when you pull the mounting bracket from the wall?
LG G6 with latest .67 FW before calibration in filmmaker mode. Slight change in Nosferatu scene but still has halo around her face. Posterization is visible in most content, even something like Frozen. Low bit rate dark content is very green with excessive macro blocking.
OOTB EOTF in FMM definitely raised on the G6.
Samsung anti-glare still significantly better for my particular room where the kitchen ceiling lights are not visible (aside from in the bezel!), but they are a distraction with the G6 coating.
@Scumbag364801@High_Def_News Ohhhhh I would rather prefer the G6…I will wait until the reviews are out if the $1300 price difference is worth it or not.
“LG C6: Significant Brightness Upgrade vs C5”
“Standard sizes, namely 55 and 65 inches, will be brighter by approximately 400 nits in movie scenes!”

Philips has unveiled its 2026 OLED lineup. These are the first OLED TVs with Dolby Vision 2 Max, in addition to a 2nd gen Tandem WOLED panel. There are also four HDMI 2.1 ports. The 8-series gets an upgraded OLED panel too. Everything you need to know👇🏼
It's hard to capture on camera, but this photo gives a rough idea of LG's work to reduce banding on the 2026 LG G6 OLED (left) vs. last year's G5 OLED (right). 'Smooth Gradation' was not enabled on either. More in the article.
