@TransLink if I tap onto the SkyTrain as my last transfer before the 90 min transfer window from first tap expires (ex. 89th min from first tap), if I tap out of the SkyTrain system after the 90min window expires, am I charged an additional fare? Does form of payment change this?

@EdmondYoong Hi there, there is no minimum order on those tickets and yes, they would be all cash fare rates. I hope this helps. ^AA

@TransLink do you sell single compass tickets that can be used in the future (not bulk order), perhaps at customer service centre at Waterfront?

@TransLink This is very good, thank you! Could you confirm they don’t need to be purchased in bulk (1, 2, 3, etc. tickets all OK), and would they be charged at the cash fare rate? I will stop by to inquire at the Walk-In Centre, thank you!

@EdmondYoong Good evening Edmond, no worries! Typically there would be tickets available for purchase daily at the Compass Walk-In Centre located at Waterfront station. I would suggest having a conversation with the front desk to discuss tickets available that expire on a future date. ^zh

@TransLink Thanks for your reply sharing this information, this is very helpful! Do you know if the Walk-In Centre has any 1 zone Compass tickets currently available for purchase when they open again tomorrow? Usually how long would last until they expire?

@EdmondYoong Hello Edmond, apologies for the delay in response. There are tickets sold that may not expire on the same day, and some can be found at the Waterfront Compass Walk-In Centre. Though there is not a guarantee on these always being available. ^zh

@TransLink good morning! Noticed there is an awful smell while boarding the train, similar to someone throwing up, near one the doors on Canada Line train #106 (approaching Broadway-City Hall, to Waterfront). Could you send someone to take a look and clean it up please?

@clearlyca frustrated that, while the customer service email apologizes for the problem, nothing is being done to help resolved a problem caused by Clearly. Very disappointed with my experience!

@cibc frustrating experience with your contact centre. In addition to them unable to access my accounts, my card now declines when it was fine before calling! Why is your contact centre creating more problems for the customer instead of solving them??

@TransLink does 250A serve all of the same stops as 250? What’s the difference between the two?

@TransLink Is the compass card and compass ticket version of the DayPass the same price? Is there only one option for zones (3 zone) as well?

@EdmondYoong You can load a DayPass at a CVM using your Stored Value, however you should only purchase the DayPass the day you intend to use it. If you have a DayPass and Stored Value loaded on your card, the system will use the DayPass before it uses the Stored Value. ^CK

@TransLink if I'd like to use my Stored Value to purchase a DayPass, can this be done online? Otherwise, is this only possible at the vending machine? If I use vending machine to buy DayPass with Stored Value, do I get an option between compass ticket or the same compass card?

@EdmondYoong That's correct! Your journey on the 240, while technically "zone 2" won't be counted towards the total zones travelled, as bus travel is exempt from zone fares. ^cm

@TransLink if I start my trip in zone 2, travel by bus to zone 1 or 3, and then transfer to the skytrain to go to a stop within that new zone, would I be charged for 1 or 2 zone travel? The bus would cross zones but the skytrain travel would not.

@TransLink Thank you, this is very helpful! For example, if I take a bus from North Vancouver into Vancouver and proceed to take the Canada Line, both starting and ending my journey within Vancouver, I will be charged for a single 1 zone fare if the travel is all completed within 90mins?

@EdmondYoong Hello Edmond, traveling by bus is entirely 1 zone travel. Where you decide to start and complete your Skytrain journey will determine the amount of zones crossed. Staying within the 90 minute travel window will ensure only one fare is charged for that travel period. ^zh
