Before you touch the eTIMS portal. Read and understand this. I am seeing many complaints on X. That the msichana wa KRA has texted and asked them to pay tax on money they have not even received. Why? Because they issued an eTIMS invoice. In Kenya, - Once you create eTIMS invoice - You have earned the income - Tax automatically become due whether you have been paid or not Cash flow is your problem. Not KRA’s business. This is the current law. Does it need an exception?
