Krafton's CEO knowing he's gonna have to pay out that $250M bonus to the Unknown Worlds team after trying to swipe it.

Games I disliked in the early 2000s for being too cutscene heavy are looking to have a reasonable cutscene to game ratio now by today's standards

Roleplaying games require you to commit to the role and dealing with its limitations. Classless system of Skyrim butchers that by allowing you to be jack of all trades and the only repercussion is increasing difficulty by autoleveling, which also butchers open world design.

@WorldLimitRPG @WeeWheaton As much as I've grown to dislike D&D 5e, PF2e has a lot of problems as well so there's another parallel. It quickly became such a mess they're kind of soft-rebooting the entire edition... to again mixed results.

@thelaymphilo @IGN I think the resets are needed due to asset limitations on some consoles. Then again, they may be able to optimize it enough to do this at some point.

@IGN Good. Now get rid of the resets between ages. The core structure of the game is rotten. There's no point to a "through the ages" game if our history is barely relevant to our future. Until that's addressed, it'll continue to be a turd in the punch bowl.

@sircalebhammer Part of the problem is the cross-platform development. Civ 6 was a PC game first and was later optimized for consoles. Because they had to make a game that played the same from PC to the Switch they made a bunch of compromises. That's part of why each age resets.
