In addition to the math, you have to understand how the world works: demographics, behavioral variety in the demographics, how votes are collected and counted, etc. Some dunces don't know math. Others don't know the world.

TSLA has a ridiculous valuation because it's supposed to be an AI company now. But Elon just made SPCX his AI company to get it a ridiculous valuation. It's almost like he'll have to merge them... and justify a 3.5T valuation on $400B in measurable value and $3T in wishes.

Elon has perfected the shell game of turning a maturing company into a new startup (or merging it into one) so that he never has to settle for a conventional valuation: he's always spinning the next grandiose startup story and glueing it onto the existing enterprise.

Many of my friends were shorting TSLA at some point, all got rekt...it was kind of like a rite of passage in the social circle that came out of our university investor's club One guy got super obsessed, kept adding to his short while citing some equally obsessed analysts who were sending drones to count cars on parking lots and developing bearish theses based on how much is made, turned over, yadayada (Coincidentally he also wrote his master's thesis on cryptocurrencies in 2014, but concluded they are a sham and never touched them...imagine if he'd bought BTC instead of shorting TSLA) It turns out TSLA is not a car company, market doesn't care about how many cars it sells or about its financials at all (it still trades at like 350 P/E) I reckon SpaceX will have the same energy squared We are going to build a moonbase and then colonize Mars...who cares about financials

Turning the White House into a place of celebration, culture, and public engagement, especially as we approach America’s 250th, strips away the myth that government is something distant and above the American people. No surprise the Democrats despised last night’s UFC event, but what truly frustrates them is what it represents: a White House that feels like the people’s house again.
