The UK and US use different legal definitions, reporting rates and recording standards. Even the ONS says police-recorded rape figures aren’t a measure of true prevalence. Apples and oranges

Knife crime is not even directly comparable between them

Murder is not the only crime. UK is more dangerous than the US in terms of rape, muggings, assault and knife crime. Homicide should not be the sole metric used to asses everyday public safety. There are common crimes like theft and assault which you're much more likely to face in your normal everyday life. The correlation between the latter and the former is weak to moderate at best.

The difference is the president of Argentina froze his own salary in 2023. Argentina has inflation under control for the first time in a generation. Its economic prospects are very bright. However, the uk is paying that wage to every migrant from Africa, Afghanistan, and every other failed state that shows up on its shores. The uk is going broke. And quickly. English cities and towns are overrun, the government is corrupt and complicit, and sadly the future of Argentina is far more promising than that of the uk.
