We can & do pop up to carry out mobile speed enforcement in response to community concerns and collision hot spots.
This afternoon on Lytham St Anne’s Way identified dozens of motorists exceeding the 40mph limit. The highest being 56mph! Prosecutions in the post #Team4RPU
@ToryFibs Wanna buy some magic beans? Or go to some commie hole that is already doing this? Oh, hang on, they don’t allow ‘unlimited immigration’. Why would anyone is sane do that?
Tony Blair has urged scrapping the ‘unaffordable’ pensions triple lock that protects millions of pensioners,
his own think tank claims the system is outdated and too rigid for modern life with costs exploding by £85 billion a year by 2070,
the former PM’s report demands it ends after the next election and be replaced by a new ‘lifespan fund’ that forces people to build their own entitlement through work,
Blair’s director Tom Smith said Britain’s state pension was built for a different era and we can’t keep pouring money into a system that is increasingly unaffordable,
pensioners facing rising bills are now told to accept less while the multi-millionaire ex-leader lectures them on restraint,
Thoughts?
🚨 96% of councils are spending more money than they have.
That’s 303 out of 317 councils in England forecast to blow their budgets.
Only 14 councils in the entire country are living within their means.
Fourteen.
And these are the same councils telling you:
“There’s no money left”
“Services have to be cut”
“Your council tax needs to go up”
But the reality, as I continue to show, day after day:
They don’t have a funding problem.
They have a spending problem.
I used to love washing my cars but now it's a very long-winded, planned and painful experience. Each wheel has to be done sat on a stool - and I still can't get up after it - and then it's the painful staggering experience of everything else. Makes it more satisfying though! 😂
The SNP Government instructed Dundee City Council to create a Low Emission Zone, to meet the legal air quality standard for NO2 (turn all these dots green).
But all the dots were green before the LEZ was enforced, so the LEZ was redundant before it started.
Can someone please explain, in very simple language, how growing almonds in a Californian desert, draining the local aquifer until the ground subsides, spraying the entire crop with fungicides because almonds can't survive without them, killing off the commercial bee population in the process, then refrigerating the harvest and shipping it six thousand miles to Britain is environmentally friendly,
but buying a piece of beef from a farmer twelve miles down the road, whose cattle eat the grass that grows in the rain that falls on the hills that have been there since before anyone had opinions about this,
is a planetary emergency?
Asking for the cow.
Please don’t be fooled by Rachel from Accounts trying to blame our terrible growth forecast on Iran.
IMF says UK’s “reliance on imported energy” is our biggest problem. Effect of war is “modest”.
Labour has pushed us to the brink of financial catastrophe.

@IAMRoadSmart As an IAM member, sod off. The reason is entirely financial/political and nobody wants to admit that the vast majority of speed limits are impractical and stupid. Accident in a 60, drop it to 40. The people who were doing 80 in a 60 won’t go “Oooh, 40, better slow down”
PRESS RELEASE
🚨 Speeding on the Rise
🚗The number of drivers caught speeding in England, Scotland and Wales is at its highest in four years.
📊Data from the DVLA shows a 32 percent increase in the number of people receiving points on their licence.
The faster a vehicle is travelling, the longer it takes to stop, and the greater the risk of a crash. Speed limits are there for a reason. #IAMRoadSmart#FatalFive#Speedingmedia.iamroadsmart.com/pressreleases/…
