I usually have no problem with honest criticism and different opinions, but comments like this make me sad.
Downvoting proposals just because they are linked to an entity or person you dislike only reveals your own ignorance and hate, which blind you.

I will read the whole thing, but frankly, based on the budget justification alone, it will be very hard to change my mind. "Total ask of ₳39,787,316 is based on an average market rate of $176/hour for senior Cardano infrastructure engineers, a conservative ADA/USD conversion rate of 0.25" $366,000 a year for a senior engineer is unbelievable in this market. And if we start budgeting multi-year proposals based on a $0.25 ADA price, the treasury simply won’t last. We should be bullish on ADA’s price, not bearish.

I am flabbergasted at the continued treasury requests to spend on operations and infrastructure when the Cardano problem is a business one.
We need to grow the ecosystem and expand ADA utility.
2.5% of "down bad" is not going to justify ADA's price moving forward.

Having a big fat bag of $ADA and delegating it to an active DRep is crucial, so the community's collective voting power can outweigh the FE's voting power in any given situation — which, we must posture, is a good thing.
To me, that's a solid

We are less than 3% away from the first Cardano governance EVER passing without an explicit YES vote from founding entities. If Pebble + Gerolamo passes purely through community support it will be a historical landmark in Cardano governance. Only a few hours left to vote!!!

CARDANO FOUNDATION REVISES SUMMIT PROPOSAL AFTER BACKLASH 😱😱😱
Following strong community feedback, the Cardano Summit proposal has been reworked with a 22% budget reduction, smaller scope, and increased internal funding.
The plan is now decoupled from EMURGO and TOKEN2049, with the treasury request lowered to 7.8M $ADA (~$1.95M), while the event remains scheduled for October 5–6, 2026 in Singapore.
