I'm sure Victoria Derbyshire isn't the answer for everyone but she is honest and interviews with the utmost impartiality we have begged the @BBC to allow her to do more political programs for years if they don't listen to their viewers, we must stop watching the BBC altogether!

Quite notable to see Starmer outriders on here suggesting what happened yesterday was a media confection… and then to hear the actual energy secretary saying that it was “a moment of peril” and that the Labour Party “looked over the precipice” 🤔

Seems to me the dominant voices in our politics are now the commentators - who have no skin in the game ( but for whom it IS a game) & who compete to be best informed/ most intelligent analysts etc -while the politicians/ those who govern are increasingly muted/ hunted/derided.

But it seems there are certain allegedly "high level" journos especially the BBC as well as Peston, Rigby & Co- who have learned zilch from yesterday.
The media generated hysteria that could have brought down a PM & destabilised the country.
They are still at it !
