From Worlingham marshes a Kingfisher catching sticklebacks for a youngster. This was a couple of weeks ago and since then the youngster has been learning to fish for itself from this perch @SWT_NE_Reserves @suffolkwildlife

Following flooding on the A14 near #Newmarket this year, we're installing a piezometer. This equipment acts as a warning system for high ground water levels.

𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬 📢 We have a kit! 🦫 After retrieving and checking the wildlife cam... we were thrilled to spot this little one swimming about 💙 This is the first beaver to be born in this corner of Norfolk for over 400 years 🎉

Nitella translucens in a restored N. Norfolk #pond. A bottle green see-through stonewort known only for 2-3 places in Norfolk & no doubt long-lived oospores brought it back from the past. Pond restoration, if done well, is our best chance of saving many ultra rare wetland plants
