Did GM quietly remove the light bar from the Silverado EV LT? 👀 Configurator now shows LT models without it—previously standard on most trims (except WT + Custom). No announcement… just gone. Cost-cutting or design shift?

@Gjeebs Did you have an end of lease inspection prior to turn in? We did ours like 3mo ahead of time if anything comes up that they might ding you for you can fix on your own before turn in. It also documents. Its not Rivian…my experiences with chase over 30 yrs have not been good.

UPDATE: I turned my Rivian R1T lease in at the end of January and was charged MORE for the following after being told everything was good and there will be no more charges. - Windshield - $1,638 - Stain that I cleaned and no longer exists - $100 - Disposition Fee- $495

@Hilbe Its a smart move. I believe dual premium will be their bread and butter model. As you point out, tri will require another new dual motor drive unit.

Rivian has designed 3 drive units: Enduro - R1 Dual and R1 Tri (Front) Ascent - R1 Tri (Rear) and R1 Quad Maximus - R2 Dual I really don't think the Tri motor variant comes until Georgia at this point. They have to get R2 ramped on Maximus motors in Normal first and by the time that is over, Georgia comes online in 2028.
