خانم‌ها و آقایانِ مدافع جمهوری اسلامی—از چپ تا مجاهد—پاسخ بدهند: چطور حکومتی که ۴۷ سال، یکی‌یکی جایگاه ایرانِ شاهنشاهی را نابود کرد، امروز «ابرقدرت» و «برنده جنگ» معرفی می‌شود؟ این نه تحلیل است، نه واقعیت—تحریف است. کار به جایی رسیده که حتی جرأت کرده‌اند نام «خلیج فارس» را تحریف کنند و آن را «خلیج» یا «خلیج عربی» بنامند—نتیجه مستقیم همین سقوط جایگاه و اقتدار. واقعیت، کشوری است با اقتصاد فرسوده، انزوای جهانی و مردمی که هزینه این توهم را می‌پردازند.

Until recently, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter were green card holders living lavishly in the United States. Afshar is the niece of deceased Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani. She is also an outspoken supporter of the Iranian regime who celebrated attacks on Americans and referred to our country as the "Great Satan." This week, I terminated both Afshar and her daughter's legal status and they are now in ICE custody, pending removal from the United States.
