Most subscription brands just say "subscribe and save 15%"
That's not enough at all
Show them the transformation timeline:
- Week 1: Natural energy boost
- Week 3-4: Better digestion
- Month 2-3: Stronger immunity, clearer skin
People don't buy subscriptions just so they can get a discount
They buy them because they see the benefits in taking your product long-term on a regular schedule
Show them the benefits they get after days, weeks and months using your product and how it gets better and better
THAT is what makes people get subscriptions for your products

@maxwellcopy When testing a different offer - wouldn't you have to change the sign up form too? Any light on how to do that would be great - thanks!
English

Nothing more impactful than testing your acquisition offer…
Email A: Welcome + Free Gift 4.1% placed order rate
Email B: Welcome + Mystery Discount 6.8% placed order rate
Email B nearly 50% increase in placed order rate.
We are now switching to drive all traffic towards this offer.
Testing offers can be the difference between being profitable on the first purchase.
Always test your welcome offer.

Every force of nature acts upon you as a beginner.
→ Nobody wants to pay you high prices
→ Nobody wants to respond to you
→ Nobody believes anything you say
→ The good clients won't work with you so you're stuck with the scraps
This is why most people quit
And exactly why you should NOT QUIT!!!
English

I never see many people talk about loyalty / rewards programs for ecom on here
But it’s one of the easiest ways to get customers buying from you again and again
But most brands set them up and forget about them
Here's how to actually use email to turn a basic points system into a retention machine:
1. Welcome flow for new members
As soon as someone makes their first purchase, enroll them automatically. Send an email explaining how the program works, how many points they just earned, and what they can redeem them for. Make it dead simple
2. Points balance updates
Send regular emails (monthly or after each purchase) showing their current points balance. People forget they have points. Remind them. Include a CTA to "Use Your Points" that takes them straight to rewards
3. Tier upgrade notifications
If you have tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, whatever), send an email when they're close to the next level. "You're 500 points away from Gold status." Show them what they unlock. This gets people to place another order just to hit the next tier
4. Points expiration warnings
If points expire, send reminders 30 days out, 7 days out. Creates urgency. "You have 1,000 points expiring in 7 days." Easy win
5. Exclusive rewards campaigns
Send emails to your top tier members with exclusive products or early access. Makes the program feel worth it. "Gold members only: 48-hour early access to our new drop"
The key is making your loyalty program feel active, not passive
Most brands just slap a widget on their site and call it a day
Use email to gamify it. Keep people engaged. Show progress. Create urgency
That's how you turn one-time buyers into repeat customers

@_umair_sheikh I doubled sign-up rate for a client from 4.5% to 9% and increased their welcome flow from 1 email to 5 (with other strategies) and they said their ads were just bringing in better traffic that month

put a lot of effort, time (and a bit of money) into implementing the best email designs for this client (specifically the abandoned flows), only for them to completely underperform...
and get outperformed by a huge margin by the emails I spent 30 mins on (always have the live for A/B testing purposes)
spending too much time designing is probably holding your email marketing performance back

You’re killing your deliverability and don’t even know it.
Every campaign you send hits dead emails, bounces, spam complaints, fake addresses.
Inbox providers see this and flag your domain. Now even your good emails land in spam.
Here’s what I do:
Create one segment in Klaviyo that catches all the problem addresses. Set it up with OR conditions:
→ Bounced Email at least once (Hard bounce)
→ Bounced Email 3+ times (Soft bounce)
→ Marked Email as Spam at least once
→ Unsubscribed from List at least once
→ Dropped Email at least once
→ Bounced Email in last 30 days
Exclude this segment from every campaign you send.
One segment protects your sending reputation.

If you want to generate MILLIONS from email.
Master infographics.
Keep it simple:
- clear headline summarizing the infographic
- 3-6 key points
- add icons or images
You can turn a huge chunk of text into bite-sized pieces of information.
That actually keeps customers engaged.
Infographics are ridiculously effective in nurturing and converting customers.
Start using them now!
