@JohnSmi14617429 First that custard powder cannot be found anywhere in Australia cos it's specially processed in Nigeria, we call it "Akamu" or "pap".
The other powder is called Ogbono, still cannot be found anywhere in Australia... These are rooted Nigerian food not international.

it is standard practice to ask all the questions that the customs officer asked. they are asked to secure the safety of others and of the ecosystem of the country.
there was nothing asked that should be considered disrespectful to the Nigerian. he stated he has lived in Australia for over 10 years. when asked why he was bringing something that he could get in the country, his response was that he likes the product from his country. if he has lived in Australia for over 10 years, why does he still consider Nigeria his country? if he was an Australian, he would say something to the effect that the Australian product is substandard to the one he can get in Nigeria, or something like that. by his statement, he still holds allegiance to Nigeria.
regardless, I saw nothing disrespectful in the questioning of an ingredient that isn't clearly marked. customs agents have a hard enough time with their job without amateur journalists mudding the water of what they have to deal with every day.

Let’s bring this up here again after the Plateau att@ck of last Night (Palm Sunday) “People Are Asking Why Are We Not K!lling T3rrorists Even If They've K!lled Others. Well, Even In The Bible, The Prodigal Son Was Given A Second Chance, So We Should Give These T3rrorists Who Are Also Nigerians A Chance To Repent Rather Than Pushing Them To The Extreme By Thr3atening To K!ll Them” — President Tinubu's Chief Of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede. How does he sleep at night with this conscience?💔

As a nation, Nigeria must be firm, decisive and uncompromising toward anyone who comes into our country with the intent to incite chaos or disrupt our peace.

North is the best place to stay in Nigeria. So I was running late, like some minutes away from the airport, instead of them to take off without me.
But guess what? My phone rang. The airline company in Kano called me, and said, where are you? I told them that I’m coming, I’m running late. And they said, take your time, we are waiting for you...
Lady shares how an airline in Kano waited for her despite being late, sparking reactions online.

@vincifinance @Ihunanya_chi We used to fast in my family at one point, 6-12....after prayers then we'd break at lunch
Noone else knew
Christians don't feel the need to let the world know they're fasting...
Just you and your God
English

@Ihunanya_chi I am not saying Christians don't fast but out of the 1000 christian friends i have,1500 doesn't fast...They don't prioritise it like Muslims do, that's why you hardly hear about it.
English

Muslim: You Christians don’t fast. Your religion is weak. No prayer, no fasting, just sin everywhere: prostitution and clubs.
Me: Let’s start with the fasting first. We’ll get to the other accusations later. Did you say Christians don’t fast?
Muslim: Yes. Christians don’t fast. Look around, Muslims are fasting right now.
Me: Oh, Christians fast. We just don’t make noise about it like you all do.
Muslim: What do you mean “make noise”? Who told you Muslims make noise?
Me: Literally the whole world knows Muslims are fasting. It’s on TV, radio, social media, newspapers, everyone knows.
Muslim: Yes, we announce it so people won’t provoke us.
Me: Provoke you how?
Muslim: Like eating in public or eating in front of us.
Me: Wait… so because you’re fasting, hungry people shouldn’t eat?
Muslim: It’s about respect. When Christians fast, we wouldn’t eat in front of them either.
Me: Hold on. I thought you just said Christians don’t fast.
Muslim: Well… I’ve never seen any Christian fasting in my life.
Me: Exactly. That’s because they don’t announce it. They don’t even tell their family or friends. Jesus taught us that, fasting should be done quietly. The only time people know is during a church-wide fast, and even then it’s just the church members, not the whole public.
Muslim: Hmm… how can someone fast and not show it? Look at me, I’m fasting now. I’m weak. Anyone who sees me will know.
Me: That’s the difference. And funny enough, many Christians don’t eat anything at all until the time they break their fast.
Muslim: What do you mean?
Me: You Muslims eat early in the morning and just skip lunch. To us, that’s not really fasting. In Christianity, someone might fast for a whole week, breaking each day at 6 p.m., no food all day, and you still wouldn’t know they were fasting.
Muslim: Why are the authors of the Bible anonymous, and why didn’t Jesus write the gospel?
Me: That’s not the topic. Please stay on the subject.
Muslim: I knew you wouldn’t answer. You people don’t even have the original Bible. Sorry for you.
Me: Hello… stay on topic. We were talking about fasting.
Muslim: Christians don’t fast. You people like freedom too much.
Me: Alright… take care. 😅
