A very long shot - I took this picture in Lewes, East Sussex in March and would love to give the adorable couple a print, anyone knows who they are? [Hopefully this won't be a Cold Play Kiss Cam thing].

This is an ALL GIRLS Jewish school in my district. I’m all for prayer and free speech, but why do a bunch of GROWN MEN need to do this right outside of a school full of little Jewish girls??? Is not this what MOSQUES are for? Is this intentional? Mayor Mamdani @NYCMayor any words of wisdom on why all of a sudden they’d feel compelled to do this?

My synagogue by the way. So that’ll be a nice fun morning. With the most virulent Jew-haters in the country.

Barry Lyndon (1975) looks so soft because Kubrick did not want normal daylight; he wanted the right daylight. Many outdoor scenes had to wait for cloudy skies, proving that even the weather had to fit the painting.

People with autism & ADHD age late. We do things late. Our frontal lobe doesn’t develop until our mid 30s in many cases (as opposed to the neurotypical norm of age 25). We also have baby faces & childlike mannerisms for life while somehow possessing the wisdom of an ancient sage.

Woman Raped Outside Luxury Flats In Streatham, Police Release Images of Suspect. Police have launched an urgent appeal after a woman was brutally raped in the early hours outside a prestigious new development in Streatham Hill. The horrifying attack took place at around 5.30am on Tuesday, May 12, outside Gaumont Place, part of the London Square Streatham Hill development, just steps away from the busy high street, a high concentration of HMOs, and Streatham Hill station. The assault was captured on CCTV, but was not reported at the time. Police were only alerted the following day after reviewing the footage and have now confirmed it as a serious sexual offence. Despite this clear video evidence, the victim has still not come forward. Detectives are growing increasingly concerned she may be too traumatised to contact them, or that something even worse may have happened to her afterwards. Metropolitan Police officers, led by Detective Constable Charlie Codrington, have released clear CCTV images of the suspect they are desperately trying to trace. The man is described as a black male of medium build in his early 30s, wearing a dark cap, dark hooded jacket and carrying a backpack. DC Codrington: "This was a horrifying incident which took place in broad daylight, close to a busy high street. We know the woman in this footage will be scared, but we urge her to contact the police. We are concerned for her wellbeing and officers are here to provide her with welfare, medical and trained support." The Met is appealing for anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images, or who was in the Gaumont Place area around the time of the attack, to come forward immediately. Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting reference 01/7556597/26, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. #UKNews #CrimeNews #London #Streatham

People often act as if suicide risk is highest when someone is crying, and lower when they’re agitated, indifferent, or angry. This is a mistake, and a dangerous one.

JUSTICE SERVED: The four Palestine Action activists; Charlotte Head (29), Samuel Corner (23), Leona Kamio (30), and Fatema Rajwani (21) were convicted of criminal damage (one also of GBH without intent) after a retrial at Woolwich Crown Court for breaking into an Elbit Systems UK factory near Bristol in August 2024 and smashing drones/equipment. They were not charged with any terrorism offences. The jury convicted them only on the criminal damage counts and was never told about any terrorist connection (reporting restrictions kept it secret until this week). However, the judge (Mr Justice Johnson) made a pre-trial ruling in March 2025 that the offences appeared to have a “terrorist connection” under s1(1)(b) of the Terrorism Act 2000. He has now confirmed this can be considered at sentencing. Sentencing is scheduled for 12th June 2026. At that hearing the judge will make a separate finding (to the criminal standard of proof) on whether there was a terrorist connection. If he does (which looks very likely given his earlier detailed ruling), the activists face: ▶️Much harsher prison terms: full sentence served unless a parole board releases them after two-thirds (not the usual 40% automatic release). ▶️Lifelong “terrorist” registration after release, they must notify police of phones, emails, bank accounts, relationships, etc., or risk going back to prison. The judge has already signalled strong agreement that influencing a foreign government via property damage counts as a terrorist purpose, even though the protest predated Palestine Action’s (controversial and currently-under-appeal) proscription as a terrorist group. This is an unprecedented use of the “terrorist connection” rule in a straight criminal-damage case. Pleased they’re guilty. Hoping for the maximum harsh sentences under terrorism rules. No more treating violent extremists like peaceful protesters. theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/m…

I am absolutely devastated Men who claim to be women have more rights than actual women in Australia. It is women who are being discriminated against, not the men who claim to be us. But in a sense, nothing has changed: we will all wake up tomorrow & men will still not be women.

I'm one Backbench MP. As a direct result of this Leadership shambles, I've had at least one and potentially two Ministerial Meetings cancelled due to resignations and now having to pull out of a Conference on cancer next week due potential votes on Starmer next week. And I'm just one Backbench MP....Can you imagine the impact of this all across Government?
