Disturbing video circulating on Facebook has led to the arrest of a mother of four in Michigan on child abuse charges.
Amber Criner, 32, is charged with fourth-degree child abuse, which carries a penalty of up to one year in jail. The children are 8 and 5 years old, with the younger child appearing to bear the brunt of the abuse in the video.
CPS is also involved, working to determine what’s best for the kids.
She was given a $50,000 bond with 10% required, meaning she would need $5,000 to be released.

A mother broke traffic rules on school premises. A police officer politely explained the violation to her, but she made excuses, claiming she was in a rush.
The officer allowed her to drop off her child first. When she returned, he asked for her documents three times.
She refused, rudely demanded his supervisor instead, and was placed under arrest just as the supervisor arrived.
She tried to lie about the officer’s conduct, but bodycam footage showed he acted lawfully throughout.
She could have simply contested the ticket in court.

Woman who was awarded $300,000 after she blamed Carnival Cruise for her blacking out, seen throwing back shots of alcohol on security footage.
The woman drank 14 shots but says her getting drunk and falling over is Carnival's fault.
She sued the cruise liner, claiming they negligently over-served her during an 8-hour period, and was awarded $300,000.
