The Monk Skin Tone Scale, launched with Google for AI/ML, has now moved into medicine. Proposed FDA guidelines mandate the use of the Monk Skin Tone Scale. Medtronic is already using the MST to rigorously test if their devices work well for everyone - regardless of skin color.
