Imperial County, California, you deserve a real vote, not a massive data center. The Board of Supervisors just fast-tracked approval of a proposed 330-megawatt data center on 75 acres near homes and the City of Imperial. Key steps were handled as ministerial approvals, which means limited public hearings, even though the project could use up to 750,000 gallons of water per day in our desert valley and demand more power than the entire county used in 2024. I’m standing with the Imperial Valley residents who are fighting back. It’s time to give the power back to the people. As your next governor, I’ll restore local control and ensure communities have a real voice on big developments that affect their quality of life. Imperial County, you deserve better. You deserve a governor who puts your voice first. 💪
