The hours tick by, each second feels slow, As they wait for the news that they long to know, Anxieties rise, excitement abounds, As the moment of truth finally surrounds. Will it be Boston or San Fran's Bay? Will they match at their top choice, or fall another way? The tension is palpable, the stakes are high, As they wait for their futures to finally fly. But in the end, no matter what fate may bring, These future doctors have accomplished something, They've worked hard, and earned their place, On the path to greatness, and a noble race. So let's raise a glass, to those about to match, To the future doctors, who will surely hatch, May your residency be everything you hoped it would be, And your medical career be long and filled with glee.
