If you thought about that, you might decide that some of us aren't deserving of the judgements you place on us. And you might be able to leave the gays and lesbians to live our own lives.

My friends in America, in Japan, expressing patriotism is met with shunning. For example, if I put a Japanese flag sticker on my car, police officers will stop me for questioning. I only display the flag at my front door on Japanese holidays. Almost no one displays the flag at their home on weekdays. This is due to the past excessive claims made by the Japanese right wing, but don't you think it's natural to show patriotism to the country you were born in?

@Katy_Faust I should add, if you call yourself a Christian, you should believe scripture at its core. Most people don’t.

@Katy_Faust If you are a Christian and believe scripture, I think the best question to start with is: what is your position on homosexuality today and has it changed? God’s word has never changed. The love of our own sin has twisted truth so severely that people are fundamentally blinded.

Question for you all. What was your position on #GayMarriage ten years ago? What is it now? If it changed, why? What content or stories did you encounter? What reasoning resonated with you?
