@HighDefDiscNews I preordered within a few mins of the preorder being live last month, and it still hasn’t shipped yet. Meanwhile all the ebay resellers have them available for 20-30 dollars higher than Amazon. It’s Zootopia 2 and Tron 4k all over again.

This was released today. Not only did Disney not send me a copy but I couldn’t even preorder a copy to get on any estimated time. Now look at its shipping time… Amazon is really not doing a good job lately stocking physical media.

Moonage Daydream was the first documentary to be shortlisted for Best Sound since Woodstock. @CAINtheBULL The 4K version has been on Apple for half a decade. This transfer is the same one that was used for the 20th anniversary 4k release, and the 2017 4k release

Six years ago today, I emceed and helped placed @ThatKevinSmith & @JayMewes hands and feet in our @chinesetheatres wet cement for the release of Jay and Silent Bob Reboot. (This was also the second time in 3 months I placed their hands in wet cement as 3 months earlier I also emceed and placed their hands in wet cement at @TheatreBoxSD during Comic-Con. )

Now on 4K UHD from @Disney! Still holding onto my 3D disc of Legacy though.

@HDMOVIESOURCE Terrible film but has two incredible scenes; an unforgettable drowning scene and the scene in the elevator shaft, Wolfgang had some sauce. But the screenplay and characters were awful. The shot of the 3D model of the ship got an Academy Award nomination even though it's bad.

First Time Watching Poseidon 4K Blu-ray Tonight. I’ve seen the older version of this movie when I was a kid and really loved it, so this should be interesting. Kurt Russell is starring in it, so I’m all good. Arrow has been knocking out some seriously good transfers on 4K all year, so this should look as good as it possibly can. This was released in 2006, and 2006 movies (from what I’ve seen) have that washed-out color look with minor ringing. The early 2000s film cameras (for some reason) look even more raw than ’70s and ’80s film. It’s definitely an aesthetic I’m slowly getting into. I seem to have missed a lot of early 2000s movies. I definitely went through a period where I just didn’t watch new releases as they came out. Anyway, let’s check it out and see how it is.

SUPERMAN lands on 4K UHD Blu-ray on September 23! The Blu-ray comes with 10 special features, including "Krypto Saves the Day!" short, and a 60-minute "Adventures of Making Superman" featurette. Director's commentary, gag reel, and deleted scenes appear to be digital-only. 🤢

@WhatisReality65 @Uber If you don’t want to do a shared ride then don’t accept it, or don’t have it as option for you. But don’t accept it and then 20 mins later when you less than a block away cancel it .

@EmceeLeviTinker @Uber Share rides should be an option that drivers can opt out of I don’t do shares and have cancelled many upon learning it’s a share You wld experience far better service bc you wld know that the driver who accepted your ride is OK with shares and most likely won’t cancel last min

Pretty crappy @Uber to make someone wait 20 mins thinking their ride share ride was on its way, and then allow the driver to cancel 2 mins before he arrives because the driver didn’t realize he accepted a shared ride. So now I have to wait another 14 mins. Poor customer service and poor service
