Haiti invaded weeks later and abolished slavery for those 25% only to turn around and enslaved more than they freed to pay their debt to France… They massacred Dominicans, confiscated their land, and suppressed and tried to erase Dominican culture and language. Y’all never seem acknowledge any of that.
