We are 7 days into an expanding US-Israeli military campaign against Iran. Trump has still not offered a coherent explanation for why he initiated the conflict or what the endgame is. 6 US service members are dead. Russia is providing intel to help Iran target U.S. troops/assets. WH says it doesn’t matter. China is considering whether to provide some support to Iran, if it is not already. More US strikes are expected, potentially with higher risk as the Pentagon says it intends to hit targets deeper inside Iran itself — using aircraft, not standoff missiles. Congress has not voted on whether to declare war. Oil tankers can’t move through the Strait of Hormuz — fueling global economic concerns. Neither Trump nor Iran signaling they are looking for an off ramp.

Of course, Kristi Noem deserved to be fired. But rather than spend energy celebrating this Trump setback, let's recognize that the disaster of today’s DHS runs much deeper than the (former) Secretary's incompetence - and keep stepping up the political pressure.

All the federal prosecutors' names in these documents are blacked out. This only adds to misinformation and confusion -- which is probably what they want. If you can't figure out the documents, it's the same as keeping them secret.
