My F31 Timeline: Started grad school: Aug 2016 1st: Dec 2018 (29th%) Resub: Aug 2019 (23rd%) 3rd: April 2020 (16th%) NOA: Aug 2021 … It takes a lot of time to write and prepare these grants. Good training, but be prepared to wait and to learn just how scarce F31 funding is.

@CaitlinPBailey For my F31, it was funded at the end of the fiscal cycle bc they had leftover money, so it was a long wait from getting my score until NOA, but it was no wait from receiving my PO’s email notifying of award, until NOA.

Our paper is out! Ventral subiculum output to NAc exhibits a D2R bias and has distinct synaptic properties from vCA1 output. Cocaine withdrawal potentiates vSUB-D2R synapses.
