Am going to set off shortly to take my dogs away from our home in Southampton as the fireworks start at dusk and go until gone 1am. I would rather brave 50mph winds in a mini than witness my old dog so fearful of the constant big bangs.

Come Wednesday I can no longer say ‘I lost my daughter last year’ & if it’s not last year, it must seem like ages ago to other people, so why am I still so bloody sad? 2025 is another year Laura doesn’t get to see & a step further away from her. Grief is relentless isn’t it 💔

@ask_aubry I would have zero love left for the husband here. Dogs love are pure. Their lives are short. If someone doesn’t absolutely adore my dogs then they have no place in my life.
