@ehmindogillie @slbsn One thing I’ve learnt over the years as a Chelsea fan is that’s they’ll always find a way

@Emmyskillful @slbsn Yeah but not much of it is actual profit. They only made like £60m profit for all their sales last year…if they are needing £150m profit this year that’s a lot of first teamers needing sold off

🚨 Chelsea's failure to make Europe means: - their briefed £700m revenue for 25/26 is now clearly impossible. Will be fortunate to have done £630m - 25/26 losses before player trading and intra group asset sales around £200m even with CWC and CL - 25/26 PSR compliance once again dependent on player trading profits and intra group asset sales (no idea what is left to sell) - 26/27 UEFA settlement compliance now looks impossible without vast player trading profits - 26/27 revenue is now likely to be £510m at best - 26/27 losses before player trading will exceed £250m again Very hard to see what Chelsea's financial plan is except to sell footballers. But those worth selling are the very players they won't want to sell. 🤷‍♂️

🚨 🔵 EXCL | Malo Gusto has privately told Chelsea he wants to leave this summer. The French full-back feels he deserves a starting role somewhere and with Reece James untouchable at right-back under Alonso, there’s no clear pathway for him. Chelsea are open to selling, they paid around £30M for him and will want profit. Several clubs in France and one in Germany are already monitoring the situation. #CFC #Chelsea

Since no one wants to say it, I’m going to say it. The red cards we’ve picked over the last 2 seasons clearly shows Chelsea is being targeted & referees are harsh to our players with no form of leniency. We haven’t been at our usual level but PGMOL has contributed a lot to our horrible season. I’ve also noticed a pattern of 50 - 50 tackles called as fouls and someone needs to speak out. We need to demand answers and repeatedly question decisions that referees make when Chelsea is involved Every week we see players of other clubs do worse things and get away with it. We need to speak out!!!

🚨Reece James on not making European Football: “Just saying it doesn't sound right. We’re a club that has won a number of European trophies and this season we haven’t even qualified. So, we have lots to learn and improve.” [chelseafc] chelseafc.com/en/news/articl…

A player who just came back from an ACL injury got stamped on right in front of the referee by a Sunderland player and no card was given. But Moisés Caicedo slipped and still got sent off for a tackle like this. The inconsistency is actually unbelievable.

Chelsea should be requesting a meeting with PGMOL. Been a scapegoat for the league since the Josh King debacle. Any time referees could give a cheap or 50-50 decision against Chelsea, they have.

After speaking with Nigerians in Cape Town yesterday, I was able to have meaningful discussions this morning with three South African ministers and political party leaders regarding the ongoing challenges related to immigration, regional collaboration, and fostering peaceful coexistence between our nations. I had the pleasure of meeting with Mr Leon Schreiber, the South African Minister of Home Affairs and a prominent figure in the Democratic Alliance; Mr Velenkosini Hlabisa, the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs and leader of the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP); and Mr Gayton McKenzie, the Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture and leader of the Patriotic Alliance (PA). Our conversations were productive and candid, focusing on the current challenges that affect both countries—particularly those related to migration, economic strains, youth unemployment, security issues, and the rising tensions faced by African foreigners in South Africa. I firmly believe that Nigeria and South Africa, both prominent African nations, must enhance dialogue, bolster cooperation, and seek solutions based on justice, mutual respect, and adherence to the rule of law. In challenging times, leaders and citizens alike need to demonstrate responsible leadership, compassion, and restraint. We collectively stressed the importance of law-abiding behaviour, avoiding violence, resisting hate or provocation, and allowing lawful institutions to address grievances through democratic and constitutional processes, regardless of the challenges we face. The progress of Africa hinges on our ability to create unity, foster economic inclusivity, invest in our communities, and uphold the dignity of every African, no matter where they live. -PO

Following the unbelievable impact of that simple tweet on unlocking carrier-locked phones, which saved thousands in Nigeria and Ghana, I’m tempted to throw out a challenge: Everyone drop one life hack that could genuinely help others. What’s that one hack you know? Kindly share.
