The shift isn’t being forced. It’s being chosen. Kodak didn’t fail because the technology didn’t exist. They failed because they didn’t believe it would win. The same mistake is being made again right now. It isn’t a question of if… It’s a question of when. And just like film cameras… One day people will look back and wonder why there was ever a debate at all.

@mr_james_c You'll want batteries with nuclear as well. Demand isn't flat and all but the most modern nuclear plants aren't great at cycling up or down. Batteries would absorb extra production for use during high demand and operate as a "fuel saver".

The battery capacity to provide Britain with 2 weeks of electricity during winter would cost more than £2tn. Which is 20x the cost of building enough nuclear power stations to provide all the UK's electricity needs.

This is the most blatant insider trading operation in the history of American politics. It’s not even close. And it’s happening over and over in broad daylight.
