@Zennistrad It takes a real animal to shirk all social norms to the point of damaging civilization.

This has happened before. There’s a reason the EV transition feels familiar. Because we’ve seen this exact story play out before. 📸 Photography Back in the day, Kodak dominated the entire industry. They didn’t just lead it, they owned it. And here’s the crazy part… They actually invented the first digital camera in 1975. They saw the future coming. They had the patents. They had the technology. They had the head start. And what did they do? They hesitated. They believed digital wouldn’t replace film. They protected their existing business. They underestimated how quickly things would change. We all know how that ended. Film didn’t slowly decline. It collapsed. Now look at the car industry For years, the narrative has been: “EVs won’t take over.” “The infrastructure isn’t ready.” “They’re not practical.” “They’ll never replace petrol and diesel.” Sound familiar? Because it’s the exact same arguments used against digital photography. But here’s what matters This isn’t about opinions. It’s about behaviour. 👉 Over 90% of EV drivers stick with electric once they switch. 👉 Satisfaction rates are among the highest in the automotive world. 👉 Running costs are lower. 👉 Ownership is simpler for most. The shift isn’t being forced. It’s being chosen. Kodak didn’t fail because the technology didn’t exist. They failed because they didn’t believe it would win. The same mistake is being made again right now. It isn’t a question of if… It’s a question of when. And just like film cameras… One day people will look back and wonder why there was ever a debate at all.

@delbigtree "12.8% chronic disease in the 1980s. 40 to 54% today." That's because we doubled the number of people surviving over age 50 along with an increase in the prevalence of diabetes.

A reporter asked me if I want my child to get polio and measles. That's the question. That's the level of conversation we're having. My answer: I want every infection my child is ever going to face to come naturally. Not injected, not synthetic, not delivered with adjuvants, heavy metals, polysorbate 80, and chemicals designed to cross the blood-brain barrier. She pushed back on polio. Said a child in New York got paralyzed and wasn't immunocompromised. Fair point. And yes, there are always outliers. There are also outliers in every vaccine reaction ever recorded...except we're not allowed to talk about those. Here's what I told her. My son is 17. Never had a vaccine. No autism. No chronic disease. Healthy. And I'll take the natural risk of diseases human beings have been evolving with since the dawn of man over a one in 12.5 chance of autism any day of the week. Then she said, well he's 17, he's not going to get autism now. Exactly. Thank God. Because they never vaccinated him. I don't say this to be cavalier about disease; I say it because someone has to be honest about the trade. Vaccines come with risk. Actual serious risk and it doesn't make the news and doesn't get counted. And the people telling you that trade is always worth it have presided over the greatest collapse of children's health ever recorded. 12.8% chronic disease in the 1980s. 40 to 54% today. The AAP did that. Pediatricians did that. They want a victory lap and they haven't earned one. I don't follow people who claim victory over a generation of the sickest children this country has ever produced.

So did Idaho, West Virginia, Utah, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Georgia, and Indiana. Tennessee, South Dakota, and several other red states have only partially complied. These states have cited three core reasons: - state sovereignty - voter privacy - lack of federal authority
Acyn@Acyn

Miller: At the beginning of this administration, we asked every state, red and blue, to share with us, their voter rolls. Every blue state refused.

There are actually some driver’s licenses—so-called “enhanced” licenses available in some states—that would suffice to establish citizenship. But even if you don’t have one of those or a passport or a birth certificate, or any other documents, you can still establish citizenship by completing an affidavit—no cost required, and it’s available to you even if you can’t find any of your documents.

1. This is a lie 2. Read the damn bill 3. The text beginning on page 12, line 22 makes abundantly clear that what you’re saying isn’t true 4. Why can’t Senate Democrats argue against this bill without lying?

@BasedMikeLee You mean the section where a state official might attest to citizenship through other means, if they want to? That's sufficient to you? Are you a moron?

@mr_james_c You'll want batteries with nuclear as well. Demand isn't flat and all but the most modern nuclear plants aren't great at cycling up or down. Batteries would absorb extra production for use during high demand and operate as a "fuel saver".

James Clark 📈📉¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The battery capacity to provide Britain with 2 weeks of electricity during winter would cost more than £2tn. Which is 20x the cost of building enough nuclear power stations to provide all the UK's electricity needs.
William Oakley@WillTatton

@Jimmyrinse1 @MorganE07969703 @7Kiwi Batteries are a really cheap way to benefit the grid, but I'm just talking about being able to move power efficiently so we don't have to turn off perfectly good wind farms. Did you really expect our grid built in the 60s to last forever?

Let me explain what just happened 👇 5 minutes before the President announced a halt to attacks on Iran… someone placed a $1.5 BILLION bet on stocks going up and dumped $192 million in oil. 5 minutes… These trades were 4 to 6 times larger than anything else in the entire market. Whoever did this wasn’t guessing. You don’t risk $1.5 billion on a hunch. There was zero public indication this announcement was coming. No leaks. No press. Nothing. The only people who knew were in the room when the decision was made. Someone in that room picked up a phone. And within minutes they made more money than most Americans will earn in a thousand lifetimes. In a single trade. On a war that cost you $4+ a gallon gas and $16 billion in tax dollars. American citizens funded this war. Politicians are profiting from it. This is not the first time. Every major announcement from this administration has had massive suspicious trades right before it dropped. Tariff reversals. Policy shifts. War decisions. This is the most blatant insider trading operation in the history of American politics. It’s not even close. And it’s happening over and over in broad daylight. You would go to federal prison for trading on a tip from your cousin. These people are front running war decisions with billion dollar bets and nobody will ever ask a single question. Nobody will be investigated. Nobody will be charged. By tomorrow this will be buried under the next satisfying headline. Just like last time. And the time before that. The game is rigged. And they’re not even trying to hide it anymore…

BREAKING: Just five minutes before Trump's announcement to halt the attacks on Iran, massive trades reportedly hit the market. In one move, $1.5 billion in S&P 500 (ES) futures was bought while $192 million in oil (CL) futures was sold. These orders were 4–6x larger than anything else at the time. The trader seemingly made huge gains. Unusual.

Carbon-14 testing cannot date inorganic metals or extraterrestrial alloys lacking terrestrial carbon cycles The carbon dating applies only to organic resin found on or inside the sphere, not the metallic structure itself, which could easily be a modern object deliberately contaminated with ancient carbon-bearing material (such as old resin, petroleum derivatives, or plant matter) to produce a misleadingly old date

@ObviousRises @RiderofWolves I am a woman. Fortunately I'm autistic. My broken brain kept the hormones from fully possessing me. From the inside I've... seen things. This post is dead on for most females. I'd say get yourself an autist, but she's hiding from the other women and you'll never find her
