Some people are out here claiming India can only buy Russian oil because of an American waiver. Please do a basic Google search before spreading this. India has been buying Russian crude continuously since 2022. No waiver. No permission. No pause. We just kept buying. Last month alone India bought 2.5 million barrels per day from Russia. That waiver the US issued two months ago was not for India. It was to allow other nations like Georgia and European countries to start buying Russian oil. And here is the thing. When a waiver is issued, more countries start competing for Russian barrels. That actually makes it harder for India, not easier. So the waiver helped our competitors, not us. Indian companies buy through traders anyway so there was never really a challenge to begin with. The facts are all out there publicly. This is not secret information. Anyone who did five minutes of research would know this. But that is the point. These people are not interested in facts. They are not interested in your wellbeing. They are just interested in spreading confusion and panic to push their own agenda. They are vultures who will say anything to stay relevant. We request every Indian to please read before you forward. Do not fall for paid propaganda. The truth is always simpler than the noise.

The US waiver that “allowed” Modi Ji’s government to buy Russian oil “not even at a discounted rate” expired on May 16. There are reports that the government has dutifully "applied for a waiver extension” with its big bosses in the USA but the MEA is yet to confirm any such report. In the absence of any clarity on the matter, is it safe to assume that for the nth time this year Modi ji and his brilliant cabinet is clueless on the matters of macroeconomics, diplomacy, and energy security? This board 'Punha Padhare' at Osmanabad railway station. 75% in Osmanabad is Hindu, 25% Muslims. Almost 100% are marathi speaking. Osmanabad is not on border of other Hindi speaking state or tourist place where people from across the country come. I was wondering why it is in Rajasthani? Or is it Hindi? If Rajasthani, at least write in that script only, if that exists. Why devnagari?
