@EndlessGl @Based_Project We will talk again in 2-3weeks :) When everyone is equally skilled there is no „let‘s hunt for kills“ or „let‘s hide“. Everyone tries to get their stuff and extract, you kill when you have to. And by basic math & logic you will figure out that this leads to 2 kills on AVERAGE

@Chambo_afc @Based_Project This is just the norm for all shooter games. If you play matches and consistently can only get into enough engagements to get 2 kills, that is a skill issue. That is just a fact.

@Chambo_afc @Based_Project This means nothing. You are just posting a nothingburger. If you cannot get into engagements, RANKED or PUBS, it is a YOU issue. There will be matches where you get pissed on in Ranked and there will be matches where you piss on people in Ranked, there will also be slow matches.

@Chambo_afc @Based_Project Here's what I'll say: if you can only manage to get consistently 2 kills in full runs on Marathon, that is a skill issue self-report. Now, this doesn't mean you're ass at shooters. It just means you do not have the knowledge necessary to get into more fights. It's a YOU problem.

@EndlessGl @Based_Project The ttk is very fast i think we can agree on that part. And 2 kills with a fast ttk in a 25min game is simply boring for people that actually enjoy shooting their gun and having gunfights. That‘s why i say that. Obviously it‘s still a shooter game.

@EndlessGl @Based_Project Yes you are right. That‘s why i said Marathon is for people that don‘t even like shooters. And that‘s also why extraction shooters are and forever will be a niche genre. And that is also why Marathon won‘t have longevity. I‘m not even an Arc raiders fanboy btw

@Chambo_afc @Based_Project You clearly don't understand the genre if your takeaway is "2 kills isn't fun!" or "I only get a lot of kills against Jims!" This is just a sign that ARC Raiders has done equal parts good and bad for the genre because their loot literally means nothing. Death means nothing.

@Chambo_afc @Based_Project It very clearly IS PvP focused. You keep bringing up number of kills like it's the end-all be-all. This genre isn't about getting like 10 kills again. It's about escaping with high tier loot and protecting it. The magic is in the tension. Every player can make you lose loot.

@Based_Project @Chambo_afc Right? Like, Marathon is about getting better than other players and ARC is just simply not. This dude pretends ARC Raiders isn't a casual game DESIGNED intentionally to be casual. That's not an insult to the game. That's what they clearly wanted.

@EndlessGl @Chambo_afc I’ve also ran entire lobbies with nothing but free kits against people with good gear, gear doesn’t equal good. If you don’t wanna PvP stick to ARC and get in PvE lobbies otherwise just play the game and improve your skill, I’m far from an insane player as well.

@Chambo_afc @Based_Project And it's just absurd to say half the population doesn't enjoy multiplayer shooters when they willingly purchased a multiplayer shooter that is heavily advertised as a PvP extraction shooter, as opposed to ARC Raiders, which is primarily PvE. Like, PvP IS Marathon.
