Movies cut dramatically down and add foreshadowing, and write in motivations. The writing was a technical mess with flares of quality

@PsyncinIn @ZealousSeraphim They grieve but It's mostly episodic, and then the character ceases to exist. Lalah vanishes after her death, until the finale. It's just bad continuity writing. Desensitization is fine. But the finale is Char vs Amuro fighting because of Lalah, movies do fix some of this.

@hangarblackottr It's more the continuity technical issues, and the desire to keep static characters. Amuro can't decide if he is a dynamic or static. Normally Stimulus -> Reaction -> Change. It's clear episodes were being worked on out of sequence with gaps. Almost all later gundam fixes this.

Episodes after Lalah death ignore it, Sleagar. I had pages of continuity errors by the end. Movies fix a few but overall just not fun

@InsaneProbably @giancar73012035 Unless Durandal lied it can’t be the original timeline because the Phfor seemingly never returned after the first attack on the Marathon ship. Some of the audio logs are dated over 20 years after the first attack and the colony was wiped out by some bioweapon contagion.
