The only use case for them is filling 6 slots in back pack for thief core Greed is Good. Another one is to lure uesc where you threw them (not like you will really need to do it anyways). I have no idea if they fuck up thermal sights, that might be the best and only actual use case imo

@cin_Aamon @MarathonGG_ I’m sure the official account posted something a while back saying it was possible to do this - matchmake voice users. Would be an absolute game changer. Communication is key. I don’t mind losing gear, but I hate wasting it because random fills were not talking.

Just farming the lost sector that is in rotation iirc. Heroic Public events, especially when distortion is active to get t5s instead of t4s, and also you can open region chests, the ones that are tagged on map (do it when distortion is active too). There is just no "best", whatever you do it takes a bit of time and feels like a chore imo.

@iamGlorp @kruzer Yes it is, if it comes naturarely. In this case it is not "valid strategy". If you need to stream snipe you are just genuinely dogshit.

@kruzer @cin_Aamon The whole point of extractions is to get out alive with loot. In fact avoiding fights and looting is a valid strategy for many players. I think it’s fine how it is.

Season 4 needs to be the “Forsaken” of Marathon. - Arena Mode (FFA, TDM, S&D, 3v3, 6v6) - Firing Range - Social Hub - Marathon Ship Map - Ranked Rework (New scoring system to incentivize fighting, Top 500, loot incentives to keep replaying and hold your rank) - Clan system - Full rework of weapon balancing

I found out about it by accident when i had gold kit on my runner (used them sometimes in solo/fill runs). Too bad it's actually hard trolling and the Ranked Sponsor starts to be actually good once you hit platinum. Just to say if others do not know, Twin Tap is just bad weapon now, once you hit platinum rank you get Volley

@kruzer even if, the issue here is stream sniping. Nothing else. I believe it could be possible to reset their ranks by hand, by one of the devs. They probably can see data of all matches completed and stats of each team.

@cin_Aamon a team hit Pinnacle 1 by stream sniping us and not killing anyone, but looting the scraps of the teams we killed lol.
