This is hate when the so called "criticism" arguments are made up. Can you show any proof of "woke" in Marathon? I mean, actual proof, not made up arguments like: -colors -i can't beat my meat to female characters Will there ever be any "real gamer" that has "real arguments", or are we going to keep proving the theory, that "real gamer" nowadays means larping, and being dogshit in variety of games.

My greatest memory of D2 crucible, will be the time when i was playing Trails on Exodus Blue. All three of us, as 0.5-0.7 players were so lucky and manage to win 6 matches without any loss yet. Our 7th, the Flawless match, we were a bit unlucky, and matched against players far better than us, we were losing 0:3 pretty fast. We did accept that we are going to lose this one, with slight smile that we still do have mercy active. At that time, Trials did experienced bunch of connection issues, and what happened next made us wonder what actually happened. Whole lobby, us, and enemy team were dissconnecting and connecting to match back to back, where last thing that happened was me connecting to the lobby alone, to the opposite team, and since i was there alone, match did end with me winning 3:0 and got first "Flawless" card. My friends did lost mercy, next match was against insane people again and we lost, and i still feel a little guilty about it, that i was the only one who went "Flawless". Got this beauty tho, with adept Icarus too, and as a little reminder of sandbox atm: -Adept Icarus used to give +5 range -Quickdraw used to be also +100 handling beside ready/stow scallar -Stability was worthless/waste stat on mnk Still holding on to that relic of the past, the most valuable to my heart, even if a little illegal.

If you took all D2 community creatives (includes cheat devs 🤪), shoved them into a pit, and then forced them to make their own game set in its own world.. absolute heat would come out. Many are saying this. It would be tremendous. I'd call it the Big Beautiful Game. ☀️🌻😇

making Destiny 3 will take time. Long time. And whatever would happen, i'd rather think that it will never come and be surprised, instead of getting excited with confirmed sequel that in the end could be executed bad. Last months clearly tell us, that they do need a break with "destiny" after 12 years, and come back to it later imo

@gleebion @staycationtg whatever you do, that ammo is expensive is not my concern really... but that's why i would want gold mod functionality to be only from hipfire, and ads was regular single shot full auto. Just to be able still use the gun at range, without wasting ammo for nothing.

@cin_Aamon @staycationtg Ammo is sneaky expensive and when you have to devote half your inventory space to a gun when it’s count parts take 1/4 the space, it doesn’t make sense at all.

I know a lot of people don't like the shotgun meta in Marathon, but you can't tell me moments like this aren't fun. I am interested to see how they shake up cqb in Season 2 though. I wanna see the Copperhead or Brrt get some nice buffs!

@gleebion @staycationtg that's not the issue really, you make the gun the most effective "primary" in cqc... and it's purpose is only cqc, when in reality you could take longer range fights with it too tbh

1. Make recon scan visible as much as it was before buffs as a starter to see how it would play out. Just this change should do for now. Also additional note, i would experiment with "standing still in place" as additional mechanic to both TAD and Recon scan. Non-Jammed runner apears as uesc. Signal Jammed runner is invisible if sits still. 2. Bubble/mizzy is hard to crack. Everything started with Knife nerf, then WSTR nerf, and buff to it didn't changed much really. Knife felt that strong only because of bubble shield and in/out juggling due the melee lunge. Singular occasions where bubble was not present 99% of the time was just a skill issue of not hitting WSTR shots, get cought reloading or bad positioning. Knife had WSTR in check, WSTR had Misriah in check, and Misriah had upperhand above both if used correctly. Gold Misriah mod should not maximize firerate imo. It's not in mag slot, at most it could add +25 RPM, so you'd have to use Slick mag to increase it further. 10 shots mizzy and 6 shots mizzy is night/day difference. (Especially that 10 shots one has higher firerate lol) Knife should have it's dmg nerf reverted, leaving lunge and tracking as it is now. WSTR obvious once again dmg buff to allow 2tap all shields at close range 4-5m, and disable Stack Overflow on it (Implant perk allowed) Bubble strength is, that i does protect you from all directions. My first proposition is to change it from throwable, to something like "Spike" from Valorant, which you have to plant on the ground, on your position. Another proposition which would be easier to do, would be change it to be a directional shield, still a throwable, but this time it just does create a wall, instead of bubble. If anyone played Destiny, they are most likely familiar with titan exotic Arbor Warden. Exactly how it can work.

I'm not sure what Bungie should do, but the bubble/slick mag/Mizzy meta isn't very fun in Cryo. People are blaming the guns, because that's what kills them, but I don't think that's the issue. ​The real problem is still bubble availability (and also Recon wallhack uptime with energy amps and running two Recons in a squad...). ​Bubbles completely go against Bungie's stated design for the game: "One of our core philosophies for Marathon is that rapid repositioning and aggression must always have a meaningful cost." Bubbles just nullify that cost because they act as a "get out of bad positioning free" card. ​Right now, Cryo feels like: ✅ Pop wallhacks ✅ Slide-rush with a shotgun ✅ Pop a bubble because you’re out of position 🔄 Repeat until everyone's dead. ​I'm not sure what the fix is, but the best metas are varied metas. ​Maybe make EMPs a hard bubble counter? Maybe if you throw a bubble onto another bubble, it breaks the first one? IDK, but I still think bubbles are the root of all evil.

@ImNotEvenSweaty would be nice to have each signature require BungieID to verify how many of those are larpers who never played previous games at all... or never really interacted with core of the game itself. Funny how much less signatures it could've had no?
