All challenges on #SN63 Enigma are launched with a corporate sponsor. Sponsors propose the challenge -- anything from "Break our core tech" to "Solve this impossible problem" -- and then let the Bittensor community work its magic. As part of the agreement, non-founding sponsors will be required to stake on the subnet, purchasing alpha equal to the maximum prize for their challenge. $100k Grand Prize -> $100k stake on the subnet They will be required to hold this alpha for the ENTIRE duration of their challenge. This achieves a two things: 1. Increased $TAO in the pools 2. A sustained interest in the subnet -- sponsors will now be incentivized to promote the subnet and drive new talent to Bittensor With this model, the value sponsors have real skin in the game, driving them to further promote the Bittensor ecosystem. When they win, you win.

@EnigmaSN63 May I ask what is going on with subnet 48?

As one of the pioneers in this implementation, our dev team has been heavily involved in the testing and debugging of this feature. We've been working closely with the Bittensor devs to ensure that their code is functioning as intended and that our implementation aligns with their design. We know this has been a heavily anticipated feature for many of you and we're eager to finally start pooling miner emission once its ready to be deployed!

Enigma is blazing trail -- on track to be the first subnet to implement Bittensor's new treasury wallet feature. Treasury wallets give subnets a zero-trust method of implementing winner-take-all incentive mechanisms. Before, subnets would implement WTA systems by pooling miner emission in owner-controlled wallets. This required the community to place huge amounts of trust in the subnet-owners, and in light of recent events, it has become clear that this is not something we can rely on. With treasury wallets, owners can place emissions in a wallet jointly controlled by validators with stake in the subnet. Funds can only be released when a consensus is reached by these validators, giving miners and stakeholders the reassurance that pooled alpha won't suddenly be used in a rug-pull. We're proud to be taking the lead in implementing this feature, taking the step towards a truly decentralized and permissionless network.
