The hardware is extremely promising but excess hype can mask the true narratives, resulting in more long-term bearishness when promises made by marketing teams go undelivered.
That doesn't mean we should ignore quantum though -- quite the opposite.
With the hardware making tremendous progress by the day, we now need to be asking ourselves how we can best prepare ourselves for utility-scale quantum computers.
This means developing quantum strategies, workforce education, and researching algorithms that translate business problems into real use-cases.
The question is no longer: "Is quantum coming?"
It's now: "How can I become quantum-ready?"

We've just rolled out some new content changes to our Website and #SN63 Repo!
In our updated README, we dive deeper into questions we've seen surrounding what Enigma is, how it works, and how it leverages treasury wallets to create a truly trustless ecosystem.
Our Website has received some cosmetic upgrades, further driving home the vision for @EnigmaSN63 and @QuantumSN48.

JB Rings says @qBitTensorLabs uses an OTF-created treasury smart contract for Subnet 63. The team cannot withdraw from it unilaterally; funds cannot leave without validator approval.

It's been almost three weeks since Taoflow was replaced with price-based emissions and it's already clear just how impactful of a change this has been on the ecosystem.
We're thrilled to see high-value subnets (especially @EnigmaSN63 and @QuantumSN48) receiving consistent emissions again -- We believe this change is a major step forward for enabling Bittensor's top builders to keep doing just that.
This is also HUGE for compute subnets, who previously had to juggle high operating costs with maintaining consistent inflows. By taking the focus off of financial engineering, these subnets can shift their attention back to optimizing their product and driving wide-scale adoption.
With the rapid and radical changes being made by @const_reborn and @opentensor, it's clear that the network is heading in an exciting new direction and we can't wait to see how it plays out!

One year of Subnet 63! 🎉
One year ago today, we officially launched #SN63 as Quantum Innovate on Bittensor!
The past year has certainly had its ups and downs but the achievements we've seen has been nothing short of incredible.
Some notable highlights include:
> 7/8/25 Quantum Innovate launches with the Peaked Circuits Challenge -- Miners reach circuits up to 40-qubits, becoming so adept that they outpace validator circuit generation!
> 8/12/25 Miners retire HSTAB challenge, producing a generalized solution for simulating HSTAB circuits
> 9/4/25 First ever QBTLL
> 11/10/25 Phase 2 Development Begins
> 3/30/26 Rebrand to #Enigma announced at Breakout
> 4/25/26 SN63 becomes the first subnet to implement treasury wallets -- Miners challenged to pressure test them, executing on the mission of Enigma
> 6/4/26 Enigma launches its first official challenge: Breaking RSA in collaboration with @terraquantum_ag
> 6/11/26 Hardening Quantum Proof in collaboration with @BlueQubitIO is launched
> TODAY: Several milestones achieved with miners breaking up to 480-bit RSA and attacking peaked circuits that have challenged even the most-talented quantum physicists. 140+ submissions across the two challenges and massive miner participation.

🚨MILESTONE SOLVED🚨
Milestone 3 of Breaking RSA (w/@terraquantum_ag) has been broken!
Congrats to 5HDyKD…NNGSNK for being the first to solve 480-bit RSA.
Their solution builds on the 460-bit GNFS solution, optimizing operations to drastically speed up candidate selection and sieving. The solution runs in just 3.8 hours, which is actually FASTER than the previous solution on the smaller 460-bit key.
More impressively, they timed their submission to go through while we were streaming QBTLL so we could announce it live 😉

When the @WhiteHouse signs an executive order to elevate the nation's focus on quantum, it's probably worth paying attention.
Here are some of the key takeaways from yesterday's executive order:
1. Quantum Strategy: Within 180 days, the administration will update the national quantum strategy to focus on commercialization, industry partnerships, and the deployment of quantum technologies.
2. Research: In an initiative led by the DOE, the government will be aiming to build their own quantum computer and implement improved benchmarking standards with the aim of better enabling quantum research at the utility scale.
3. Workforce & Supply Chain: The administration will take actions to support component suppliers and identify manufacturing bottlenecks while growing the quantum workforce through recruitment incentives, apprenticeships, and workforce training programs.
4. Quantum Security: By the end of 2030, high-value federal systems must be using post-quantum cryptography for key exchanges. By the end of 2031, these federal systems must be using post-quantum digital signatures.
Given all that we've seen this year in the field of quantum, it's undeniable that the future of quantum is approaching faster than many of us are ready for.

Congratulations to 5GxF8B…Uyh41S on securing the latest verified solution! Their solution is quite impressive, making use of a GPU-accelerated General Number Field Sieve (GNFS) to solve the milestone in 3.9 hours! The code will be open-sourced on our website shortly, giving future innovators even more tools to tackle the challenges ahead. Stay tuned for details on the next milestone.
