How much would your biz need to make to justify quiting your 9-5?

I haven't done this but will next time, have them do a typing speed test. Slow typers won't work out Biggest thing for me is how well they speak English and sales skills. I'm less concerned about their experience of the cleaning industry because that can easily be taught. Just really want someone with a good attitude and that's personable on the phone.

@EnrouteToQuitW2 Nextdoor also seems to favor shorter content fyi, tested this with the same post just shorten down and it seems to perform better.

Been posting "stories" from our cleaning business on Nextdoor 1-2x a week. No selling or promotions, just stories, and we've gotten over 100k impressions over the last month from people directly in our target city. Trying to build as much brand exposure as possible, and people love wholesome stories.

@PfeifDaddy57 Have you had success with LSA messaging? I turned off the messages a while ago just bc our close rate was so low. I know the CPL is cheaper though so debating if I wanna try again

The worst type of people that will blow your LSA budget. Will reply so I don’t hurt the algorithm, but no intention of working with these kinds of people.

My answer is that cleaners are just never reliable enough to show up at a specific time lol Helps with the customer expectations and never usually an issue We do 30 min arrival window but tell cleaners they have to be there at the beginning time. The extra 30 min is just for if there’s traffic, etc

Seems like everyone but me uses arrive windows for their cleaning business. Curious why? And if you guys ever get push back for that

When we first started our cleaning business, we only wanted to do residential... until a commercial motel contract came across the desk and we reallllly needed the revenue. That $4k/mo account broke a lot of our limiting beliefs/scaredness around B2B, and we never looked back. If you aren't taking on commercial accounts because you don't know how to quote them, comment "QUOTE" and I will send you the way we get accounts and price them.

Cleaning biz owners - What is your normal response to "Previous tenant was a heavy smoker, need walls scrubbed to remove nicotine stains". I always let them know it would be less expensive to paint it. Am I doing that wrong? Do y'all normally do that?
